IMHO, Gul has done quite better with AsYa here. These two actually have had heart-to-hearts and proper conversations instead of just ongoing eyesex, falling-catching and almost kissies. I was rewatching some scenes of her previous show and came to the part where the hero and heroine first realize that they are in love...and trust me, till that moment in the Show they had hardly had any decent conversation except for dupattas flying and rescue missions and what not (Jayne, I'm sure YOU know what I'm talking about)!
So yes, I agree with you both how lust is being pictured as love nowadays. The heroine wears this sexy, backless saaree and the hero ogles at her- KABOOM, the audience go all, "Haey, he loves her so much" LOL. Rubbish 😛
