Res! I'll reply as soon as I have access to a computer. Until then, I love you for giving us what the CVs did not.
Unreserved.
Only your writing has the power to get my lazy ass off of the couch and comment. 😳 As much as I just want to jump into the Mangalpur Asad part, I do have a comment pending for Part 2.
Sure, it was no Mangalpur. Sure, I didn't get a mental eargasm imagining the Zoya dahaad, but a filler? You crack me up. 🤣🤣
Dear lord, Monica, sometimes I think you need that whack on the head as much as Asad does for not being able to recognize the heights of your own talent. Let's be honest, for such a great writer, you can be quite dimwitted. So, I've decided to be the Good Samaritan and enlighten you.
What a perfect way to start off the chapter! The dream was so vivid and my heart went out to the poor soul. 😭 The fact that she dreams about Asad leaving her to die and going with Tanveer speaks volumes of the pain she has went through. Everything she believed, everything she read in his eyes, everything her heart spelled out for her, it all really is shattered. And, it's just heart wrenching.
Asad's scene was also refreshing.😊 It was good to see the determination restored in him. Poor man didn't deserve such enormous guilt no matter how stupid he had been. I could already sense the Mangalpur-ish desperation building up when he was trying to find her. But then again, I try to find a bit of Mangalpur in everything. Hey, no judging. Don't we all?
My favorite part about the second chapter was Zoya's dreams! I had metaphoric tears in my eyes reading about her imagining Mr. Khan in such casual, everyday situations. And it was so apt, too. Because despite her self-proclaimed dream of having a prince ride towards her on a white horse, her true fairytale is just a normal life with Asad. To eat, to laugh, to live, to love... to do everything with him. And it was beautifully portrayed through the dreams. Kudos to you! 👏
As for Tanveer popping up like freaking Peeves the Poltergeist everywhere, I would rather not comment. However, you do deserve credit for staying true to the actual show here. 😆
In short, it was a beautiful update and I loved every word of it.

A moment of silence for my heart which fluttered away after reading the last part.
OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD! MANGALPURIYA ASAD! If we get this on the show, either my heart will stop beating altogether or beat thrice as much and jump straight out of my chest! Sorry for all the exclamation marks... Actually, it's your own fault. So not sorry.
I'm trying to write an intelligent comment and you know, put on a facade of being very intellectual in my feedback, but HELL, WHAT'S INTELLECT? All I know is that I still have "ZOYAAA" ringing in my ears.
IT WAS EXCEPTIONAL MONICA! EVERYTHING THAT I COULD WISH FOR & BEYOND! I LUBBB YOU FOR THIS.
I loved how you built up for the epic climax! It started out all dhuki-dhuki types. Which was only logical. Their pain... so profound, so unnecessary, and so shattering. It's heart breaking.
KSG's facial expressions during the fire scene were perfect! ... Allah Miyan, what's wrong with me? See what your vivid descriptions do? They make KaBhi work overtime in my head (without pay), that's what!
VIRTUAL HUG FOR INCORPORATING ZOYA'S NIGHTMARE IN THE SEQUENCE, SISTER! It was the perfect way to take away her insecurity and her pain and just crush it. I really hope that her subconscious mind registered that.
AND HOW CAN I NOT MENTION THIS! THREE CHEERS FOR THE THREE SLAPS! WOOT, WOOT, WOOT! "ASAD, mera naam Asad hai". Hayyeee, I can rest peacefully now. 😳
Legit you should not have included Tanveer getting bitched out and Mangalpuriya Asad in one part. I am going through intense mental turmoil trying to decide what I liked more. I guess Mangalpuriya Asad takes the cake because KSG looked really hot, you know, in my head. But still, I loved how he treated Tannu. I was gloating when he tied her up! 😆 It was so perfect! She doesn't deserve to be treated humanely.
My only problem is that Asad shouldn't have been so cruel towards the poor children at the orphanage. They are probably scarred for life having looked at the one-eyed witch. Someone should call for a therapist.
Since Asad is already at the hospital, he might as well sterilize his hands. Those slaps were needed but I wouldn't want the poor guy contracting any diseases. Especially if he's going to go into the ICU and be caressing Zoya's face.
Waiting patiently for the epilogue! 😳
