Asad is in a terrible state but still his belief well eternal belief in that Billi never moved an inch. It's only this belief which shattered his and Zoyas life in the first place. No tricks on that Billi would have worked if he had thought about her actions rationally before anything. God also only helps those who wants to be helped. Asad isn't doing anything at all to know the truth. He is a weird kind if hero I ever came across.
Btw I did not vote but still wanna say that his tears make me cry too but then when I see his actions and remember why this mess happened in the first place I fail to be sorry for him.
