Dilshad's slap too good for Tanveer!

In today's episode, Dilshad definitely stole the show...hat's off Ammi!!

While many question Dishad's apparent lack of understanding and faith in Asad's integrity, that led to the slap, this was the result of deeply buried hurt resurfacing in the most cruel manner, and the feeling of being let down by her own son whom she had raised to be a better person than his father.

The Asad-Tannu incident, totally unexpected and untimely as it was, also brought up too many painful memories of her husband's betrayal, 17 years ago--- Rashid's physical presence not helping. Dishad felt as betrayed as Zoya, if not more. Unable to contain her emotions, she let them out by slapping Asad. Besides, he was one of her own.

As for Tanveer, she is obviously considered an outsider not worthy of even a slap from Dishad! By not allowing her to utter more than one word either, and by silencing her at the mere point of a finger, Dishad clearly expressed her opinion of Tanveer: UNIMPORTANT!!

Moreover, to Tanveer's dismay, Dishad made it clear that she is not buying into her victim-game, but in fact considers her an equal partner in the "crime," when she pointed out that two hands are needed to make a clap, before throwing her fallen dupatta back around her so disdainfully.

What could be more insulting and degrading than that?

Ouch Tanveer!! How does that feel? No matter how much Tanveer tries, she'll end up either bringing AsYa closer, or worse, she'll end up belittling yourself in the worst possible ways!! And there is no way she can replace ever Zoya, try as she may...not even if Asad marries her or gives her child his name!

Well written. Tanveer has indeed dug her own grave this time. She got so caught up in winning the bet with Zoya that she forgot the war she was fighting, just to win the battle.
