yep the first book was indeed the best! although my mom didn't like it she is kind of a devotee of lord shiva and a little sensitive when it comes to mythology and she doesn't like it when writers ruin mythology! she even read the palace of the illusions and she closed the book with a grimace!

the third book i felt was too dragged and boring!

It got a lil too philosophical and abstract towards the end..The Palace of illusions is beautiful man..I love that book..
