It was a dark night. He sat alone in his room staring at the wall wondering where it had all gone wrong. To think that today was supposed to be the happiest night of his life. He was supposed to have been married yet here he was, sitting, in his cold, lonely room that would stay empty forever.
Zoya. His Zoya. How had he betrayed her? Her shattered face as she registered him in bed with his best friend was forever imprinted in his mind. He could no forget. He would never forget. He cursed his fate. He would never forgive it for destroying the one person who had stood by him through everything. He would never forgive it for making him Rashid.
His greatest fear realized. Why Allah why? What had he done so terrible to deserve such a punishment? Was it because he had judged and berated her at every given opportunity? Is that why he had lost her?
No! He had been betrayed by fate and his friend.

He remembered being knocked out. He remembered that! He knew he could not have been conscious to commit any sort of act. He harbored no attraction towards his friend. What had happened? How had Zoya known to find him at the factory? He hardly knew where it was...so how had she? Had he been set up? But why and by whom?
He sighed as more question swiveled around his brain. His heart was aching and his head hurt. He couldn't think of anyone...unless...DAMN, Zoya had been right after all.
