Brilliant - absolutely brilliant observation about Asad being able to look into only Rashid's eyes! They are finally seeing eye-to-eye - literally and figuratively. After Thursday's episode, I remembered your theory of Asad facing what Rashid once faced and that's how he gets to understand him. Now, your theory was about family's safety, but I think the kind of entrapment that Asad is facing is what happened to Rashid. I feel this is how Ayaan had come into being. It seems finally it is time for Rashid's past to be revealed and also for him to make way in their presence as he is the one who knows about Tanveer.
Great discussion on this thread! As some members have pointed out, Rashid's two sons committed the same mistakes/crimes that he had done. Both have been trapped by Razia, same way he was trapped. Now, Ayaan repeated his mistake all the way, as in not informing others and police of his deed. What about Asad? So, will Asad repeat the mistake all the way i.e. by marrying/getting engaged to Tanveer or he will proven to be different from his father? That is something to be seen.
My theory is that whatever Tanveer tells him, whatever Asad believes, Zoya will protect him, once she starts thinking and learns that Asad was trapped. She knows everything about Tanveer. Dilshaad didnot know about Shireen and Razia. So, Asad will have a fate different from his father - that is my hope.
