In an earlier episode Asad threw his phone down and broke it. Immediately afterwards he received a call and was using the same phone which he himself broke earlier. If a person can continue to use broken phone magically restored to its original state using Harry Potters reparo spell, then a switched off phone can also be switched without ever anyone trying to switch it on.

We talked about this already in other thread... There is a possibility and Asad could realise that he is not rapist but a victim by the lipstick marks on his chest...( TM Trina pointed the lipstick marks)
