It was 2 days before Asad and Zoya's wedding and Asad had brought Zoya out to the bazaar to buy some jewelry for some of her outfits. He never enjoyed to shop, but he only agreed for one reason. He would get to spend more time with Zoya. The queen who ruled over his heart.
After 27 minutes of driving, Asad and Zoya had finally reached the Bazaar. They both opened their sides of the SUV and got out. Asad walked around the vehicle and stood beside Zoya.
Asad: Ms. Farooqui, where would you like to shop?
Zoya turned at Asad and looked at his expressions.
Zoya: Mr. Khan. You can go home if you like. I can shop and take a taxi home.
Asad: No no. I'll stay with you. Waise bhi, It doesn't seem very safe for you to shop on your own.
Zoya looked around. It seemed pretty dead. Nothing weird or unsafe pointed out to her.
Zoya: It seems pretty safe to me Mr. Khan. And if anything does happen, You know I can always use my Karate skills.
Asad looked at her pathetically.
Asad: You have no karate skills. Now let's go. You're wasting too much time.
Zoya: Rude! Anyways, I'm asking you one more time. Are you sure you want to come?
Asad looked into her innocent eyes and smiled.
Asad: I'm sure.
Zoya: Alright, You're choice. But don't tell me I never warned you!
She giggled and wrapped her arm around his.
Zoya: Lets go!
She pulled him as he stared at her astonished. Was she really his arm. He continued to watch her as her hair blew behind her. He seemed mesmerised by her perfect beauty.
After bit of walking, they finally reached a show where a man was selling earrings. She let go of his arm and began to browse through the earrings. Her eyes caught two pairs of earrings. One that was gold, shaped as a raindrop and had green designs. And another that were hoops with pink dangly beads at the bottom.
She smiled at them both but still was confused on which one to pick.
Asad looked at her and then looked back at the selection of earrings.
Zoya: Asad, Which pair of earrings should I get, green or pink.
Asad looked at the earrings and made his decision.
Asad: Neither.
Zoya was confused with his response.
He looked back at the earrings and picked up a different pair. He opened the clear lid and took out the earrings. It was silver with sky blue designs. He took one and put it though her ear.
Asad: These are perfect for you Zoya. Elegant like eyes, yet soft like your lips. *She smiled* They are perfect for you. Just as perfect you are for me. *She looked up into his eyes* What have you done to me zoya. I was so normal before you came, but now that you're in my life I can only think of you. Every single breath I inhale has your name printed on it. You've changed my life Zoya. I love you.
A tear parted her eyes as she went in for a hug.
Zoya: I love you so much Asad. So much.
I know it was bad!
