It depends on the mehendi!
I dont really like mehendi but i do wear it.
On some u can wash after a few hours and then try not to get water on it,
On others u just rub your hand together to get the dried mehendi off and apply lemon, oil or whatever to get it dark,
By the way i dint think using a knife is safe :)


Ps. I think in the show zoya had the mehendi on her hands for 3-5 hours or maybe more. They didnt show it well though

I too was thinking the same thing ... and then I thought maybe I was being stupid and kept mum ... in fact I keep my hands away from water as much as possible.

Exactly!! Haha when I put mehendi I remove it by rubbing my hands together and then avoid water at all costs for at least a few hours after that!! I found it really odd that she went to wash it off, won't the colour fade faster in that case??
