Zoya was shattered ... Not heartbroken but yes 'Broken' ..she felt worthless ..used up ... And probably all the disgusting things in the world ..
The damage done by Asad made her miss her family more than ever before .. She cursed herself for desiring such a man.. She wanted to cut all the feelings she ever felt for this horrible man... No matter what he went through in his life , he had no right to treat her like that or perhaps treat anyone like tht...

She was torn apart by her desires for this man .. And this time she wasn't going to give up .. She yearned for love not for bullshitt !

Zoya slept sobbing ...missing her ammi , abbu and aapi..

The next day Asad woke up , got dressed and went downstairs for breakfast..

But Zoya wasn't there .. He glanced up at the watch '8'45am' ...

'Must have overslept again! Silly girl' he thought and began wid his breakfast

After a few mins , he began getting restless .. It was already 9'05am and miss farooqui was nowhere to be seen ..

He cleared his throat and spoke
'Ammi...ummm...can u tell Miss Farooqui to come down ..its getting late'

'Ohh ! Yes I'm wondering why is she taking so long .. Wait I'll check up' dilshad spoke going upstairs

While Asad waited impatiently..

Dilshad knocked Zoya's door

But there was no response ..

She knocked again ...twice .. Thrice ..

No response

Worried , dilshad clutched open the door ..

And saw Zoya still sleeping covered wid blanket ..

'Zoya ... Zoya beta?' Dilshad spoke softly

But Zoya didn't respond ...

'Zoya beta..wakeup' she spoke caressing her forehead

And suddenly Dilshad felt Zoya's forehead burning ..

She checked again.. And it was actually burning ..

'Ya Allah !! She has high fever' Dilshad spoke aloud

'Asad ! Asaddd ...' Dilshad shouted

Asad immediately went upstairs to Zoya's room..

'What happened Ammi ?' He asked staring at Zoya .

'Zoya has high fever Asad .. And I think she's hardly conscious... Please call the doctor' she spoke sitting besides Zoya ..

Asad was baffled..how suddenly out of the blue Zoya got sick .. That too so badly ..

He quickly dialled the doctor's number .. and called him home immediately ..

'Asad please stay here .. I'll just get bowl of water and strips for Zoya' dilshad spoke leaving the room..

Asad took the opportunity and noticed Zoya's pale face ..he went closer to her and sat besides her on the bed .. She looked pale yet beautiful .. Childlike innocent .. Her naturally pouted lips were a shade of pale pink .. He softly touched her forehead ..and it was actually on fire .. Suddenly he saw something that aroused a very different emotion in him.. Asad noticed Zoya's dried up tears on both her cheeks .. And instantly a flashback of last night events came across his mind ..

'Ur not worth of my touch anymore'

And that's when a new emotion rose in him ... 'Guilt' .. He suddenly felt his heart sinking as those words rang in his ears .. 'What had gone into me last night ! Howww ..how could I do that to her ?' He thought to himself ..
'How can I stoop so low ?' ..his eyes started softening ...he brushed his thumb softly through Zoya's cheeks .. She was so soft and he was always so harsh on her , so aggressive .. Unknowingly his thumb brushed her soft luscious lips .. And a current went down his spine .. He had never touched her lips .. But right now all he desired was to take them in his own.. Her feather pink lips felt so soft beneath his thumb..

His thoughts were interrupted by the entry of Dilshad and the doctor !

'Asad the doctor is here ..' Dilshad spoke and Asad immediately stood up to make way for him..

The doctor checked on Zoya ..

'How is she doctor ?' Dilshad enquired

'Well she has high fever ..and her body is very weak .. I guess she is under stress too since her BP is not normal'

Asad suddenly felt a pinch in his heart hearing 'stress' ..

'Did she take stress because of me' he thought ..

'Well I have given written down the medicines and given an injection.. She'l wake up in sometime.. Please make sure she eats properly and doesn't take too much stress' the doctor completed ..

'Sure doctor ! Aapka Shukriya' Dilshad spoke

'Asad ..please escort him' Dilshad told asad ..

'Sure Ammi' he replied

Once they were out of the room .. Asad spoke 'doctor I hope there is nothing to worry about ?'

'Oh Mr Khan ..well not really.. But she seems very stressed out . And its taking a toll on her health .. So yeah u have to be careful with that ! Is she ur wife ?' He asked

The words rang in Asad's ears ... as his body stiffened .. 'Wife ???????'

'Uh..no ...umm no doctor .. She's a ..guest' asad stammered

'Oh actually u looked worried so I thought .. I'm sorry' the doctor said and left !!

Asad stood there dumbfounded .. 'Miss Farooqui my wife ?' For a second he felt a strange rush in his entire body .. But he repressed all these strange feelings ...'What is wrong wid me ?!' And wid tht he went upstairs..

he entered Zoya's room and saw her sitting up on her bed ..'She's awake' he felt kinda relieved ..

Zoya's eyes met Asad's for a brief minute and she quickly looked away..

'Zoya sweetheart how u feeling?' Dilshad asked

'I'm much better phuppi ! Umm I'll just go get fresh' she replied

'Haan ..till then I'll get u something to eat' Dilshad kissed her forehead and went out of the room..

Asad was silently trying to encourage himself to ask Zoya how was she feeling .. But seeing her condition ..his guilt just kept on rising ..

Zoya widout looking up at Asad .. Was getting out of her bed .. When due to weakness she stumbled ..and was about to fall , but she was lucky enough or perhaps unlucky for now to be embraced in the arms of someone she hated for now ! Asad held her protectively .. Feeling suddenly in power as his eyes locked up wid her beautiful brown eyes .. Zoya did feel her heart racing .. But for now her mind empowered it ...Asad who was about to say something , suddenly felt quite as Zoya backed out from his arms and silently went to the washroom..

Her silence irritated him.. Becoz it just kept increasing his guilt .. She hadn't spoken a word to him.. Her eyes ..her eyes were screaming 'Pain' .. He remembered how close he was to her , how his lips traced her beautiful skin ..he had decided not to stop until ofcourse she spoke of jealousy ! It hit right his ego .. And his ego was bigger than anything else in the world .. Asad Ahmed Khan doesn't bow infront of anyone ! But at the same time he couldn't just deny the fact that his words were more harsh than required .. He actually made her feel like 'crap' like some roadside 's**t' .. And it made him hate himself becoz he wasn't someone who would hurt any woman to that extent !
'This girl brings out the worst in me' he spoke shooking his head ..

When suddenly Zoya's phone beeped ..Asad just turned around to see .. But what he saw shocked him...

'Text Message from Hamzah' the screen flashed ..

Asad's jaw clenched ... He tried hard not to touch her phone or invade her privacy .. But he just felt his hands automatically going to the phone .. As though some sensation was guiding him.. Wid a heavy heart he clicked open the message ..

'I had a great time last night ! Glad we are atleast friends'

Asad's eyes went wide seeing 'friends' but as he heard a noise from the washroom.. He quickly deleted the message and rushed out of the room..

He went downstairs lost in his thoughts ! 'Does that mean ..Hamzah and miss farooqui are just ...'

'Asad' Dilshad called out

'ji ammi' he replied

'How come u haven't left for office yet? U never stay back for anything ' she spoke unaware of what her words did to Asad ..

Reality hit him like a snowball on his face !!

Asad Ahmed Khan who never stays back at home for anything except if there's an important emergency ONLY relating to his Ammi and Najmah ...today stayed back just becoz of Zoya .. A mere guest in his house ..

'This is getting too much' he felt heat radiating in his body .. And he abruptly left the house unable to cope wid the air inside ..

He sat in his car and rushed to his office accelerating the speed more and more ..

Meanwhile Zoya was sitting in her room feeling weak .. When Dilshad came in ..
'How u feeling Zoya?' She asked

'I'm okay phuppi ! M so sorry to give u so much trouble' she spoke feeling guilty for making phuppi work extra where she should be helping her ..

'Zoya shutup ! Ur like my own daughter... Like Najma, I care for u too..' Dilshad smiled

Zoya smiled too ..

'Now open ur mouth ! The doctor said ur very weak ... Indirectly he blamed me for not making u eat properly' dilshad spoke wid a frown ..

Zoya opened her mouth as Dilshad fed her wid fruits ..

Suddenly Zoya's eyes became teary .. She was already feeling so vulnerable .. And now Phuppi's care made her heart full .. For now Dilshad was like that little light for Zoya in a dark room..

And Zoya startled Dilshad by hugging her tightly and crying her heart out in her arms ..

Even Dilshad couldn't help but let a few tears trickle down her eyes .. 'Its okay Zoya ..I understand' she caressed Zoya's hair ..

'I'm wid u ..if u ever need anything ..I know I'm not like ur ammi .. But ur like my own child ..don't worry Allah sab thik kardenge' she spoke patting her back..

Zoya just cried in her arms ..helplessly .. She took out all her emotions in those tears ..and Dilshad didn't push her away !

And all this was being watched by someone standing at Zoya's door ..
'Najma'

The whole day in office Asad tried to focus on his work ! But his eyes kept betraying him by reaching out to the glass shield across the cabin where Zoya used to sit !

Frustrated Asad threw everything from his table ...loosened his tie and lied back on his chair closing his eyes ..

'Ur not worth of my touch
anymore ' he remembered his cruel words

'Is she ur wife? U were so worried so I thought...' Doctor's words

'I'm glad we are atleast friends' Hamzah's msg

'U never stay back for anything Asad' Dilshad's words

And then suddenly Zoya's pale face and painful eyes flashed before his eyes ..

His heart felt a jolt and he opened his eyes immediately ...

'I...sshhh...should...apologize ' he spoke in his mind ..

'Miss Farooqui was right ! She didn't do anything wid Hamzah .. But then why ? Why did I feel soo possessive about her ? Why did I act like a maniac infront of her .. Why!!!??? Why did I lose control ' he covered his face wid his palms ..

'Don't lie Mr Khan.. All this .. Ur closeness to
me .. Telling me not to go back to
Hamzah ... It was all becoz u were jealous
right ? Jealous of him being close to me ?' Zoya's words rang in his ears

'Was I actually jealous?? ...ya Allah!! She's tearing me apart...why can't I stop thinking about her ?'

Asad stood up and grabbed his car keys ..

While he was driving back home .. His car stopped once again near the pavement .. And suddenly that girl"s images flashed before him.. He hadn't seen her there even once after that night ! But today he a had a strange feeling about it ... He felt good ..

Asad rang the bell of his house as Dilshad opened the door..

'Salaam Ammi'

'Walekum Salam Asad ...' Dilshad greeted him..

She went to get him a glass of water while Asad stood there confused ..'Should I ask ammi about miss farooqui or not?' He kept thinking ...

'Zoya's much better now ' Dilshad spoke handing him glass of water..

Asad was stunned ..he felt a lump in his throat ..did his ammi started reading his thoughts???

'I didn't ask Ammi' he spoke sternly

'I just thought u should know ..since we all stay in the same house' Dilshad replied calmly and went back to the kitchen..

Asad felt a huge relief ... And he decided to talk to Zoya .. Rather just say 3 simple words and walk out her room.. Well not 'I love u' but 'I am sorry' ..

He was standing outside her door .. Taking a deep breath he knocked ..

'Come in' came a faint voice of Zoya ..

Asad opened the door ... And saw Zoya sitting on the bed .. Her eyes closed ..
She looked so serene .. That he just felt like taking her in his arms and kissing her till eternity ..

Suddenly Zoya opened her eyes and was shocked to see the ruthless man standing ..

'Mr Khan?' She whispered

Asad snapped out of his thoughts ..

He cleared his throat and spoke 'wo ...actually...umm how u feeling?'

'I'm fine. Thanks for asking' she replied looking at him..

Somehow her gaze made Asad uncomfortable .. She was staring right into his eyes and he couldn't look in her eyes due to his guilt ..

'Anything else ?' She asked sternly

'Actually... Miss Farooqui...I...I...j..ust ..wanted to...

'I'm tired Mr Khan.. Can we talk tomorrow?' Zoya cut him..

Asad felt helpless .. And deep down a little hurt too ..but he was too egoistic to accept it ..

He silently left her room and closed the door ..

Zoya sighed .. And tears started brimming in her eyes ..

After dinner ... Asad went to him room .. And tossed in his bed yet again .. Unable to catch even a bit of sleep ..

It was almost 1am .. But he still wasn't sleepy .. Zoya's face kept flashing before his eyes .. And he felt a pang in his heart thinking how much he had heart her .. His inner voice constantly reminded him 'ur no different from ur father'

'Noo !!! I'm not like him .. I can never be him' Asad spoke and turned to his right staring outside his huge semicircle window..

When he saw someone sitting on the bench outside .. Asad rubbed his eyes and saw again.. There was a girl sitting on the bench.. Looking at something ..
Asad kept staring trying to make sense of what he was seeing ..
Suddenly she wiped her tears and stood up to go .. She wore black skinny jeans and white full sleeves top.. Asad noticed ..

And that's when it clicked him ...
'The pavement girl !!!'

He quickly got out of his bed near his window and what he saw made him speechless ..

'Miss Farooqui' he whispered seeing Zoya walking back to her room..

His world spun around him.. 'I ...s..aw Miss Farooqui that day??'

He sat on his bed frozen .. After a few second .. His lips curved into a huge grin..

'Maybe Allah was in my favour all the time.. But i was late in realising' he spoke to himself ..

This was a gesture from Allah that this girl was meant to stay in Asad Ahmed Khan's life whether he liked it or not !

And that's exctly when he felt sleepy .. Only becoz he knew it would be a better tomorrow !

Zoya opened the door of her room .. And was shocked ...

'Najma ?' She spoke softly ..

I am in love with this FF

It has everything...from intensity to guilt to passion to desires JUST EVERYTHING
Man ..The dude is obsessed with her
He didn't see her at the table and got worried.

GUILT !!
I always love when he feels guilty.

Amazing Update as always Zaraa! 🤗

I love how in your story Asad actually felt guilty so soon. The whole Zoya being sick and Asad feeling guilty was UHHH-MAAZING! How i wish something like that might have happened in the show too. I love the Dilshaad-Zoya bonding too.

He finally realised his feelings for her? WOAH! And him finding out that the girl at the pavement was Zoya is awesome! I wonder what will happen next now. I am gonna love this side of Asad. 😆 Zoya being pissed at him and Asad feeling guilty. I am glad he read that Hamzah's text too. Najma in Zoya's room? 😲

Why do I feel that Najma has found Zoya's situation just like her won n she is now realizing her pain? I feel Najma has lost her love, I mean he dies 😔

So I feel Najma wud giv a hand of frenship to Zoya n wud wanna talk to her n maybe she wud share her pain with Zoya, something that she cannot share with her brother n mom!

Great so poor Zoya falls ill and Akdu feels guilty ! He should feel guilty !!

And see he knows they are friends so again good for him !

All that he said really made her sound liek a s*ut

I love how DIlshad is there for Zoe... but I dont know what was happening with Najma she came Dilshad said Najma and then you jumped to Asad in office so hopefully we will find out what happened in the next update
