Fear has it's price...

This prejudice about Zoya has existed in Asad's mind and still continues to do so...despite the fact that he knows her deepest fears and secrets...despite the fact that she has proven him wrong about her time and again...he judges and disbelieves her and will continue the trend in all likelihood..

We may ask why? Should he not have learnt by now..to not judge her...to not insult her..to not distrust her...Well the answer lies in a very very simple human emotion that has more strength that all others put together...FEAR...

Fear is multifaceted...strong...lethal...it is like the tornado that destroys everything in it's path...

Asad's fear has it's foundation in a failure of a father...love lost it's meaning early in his childhood...he grew up before he was supposed to...taking charge as the man of the house...he very soon realized that fear is the answer to everything in this world...

He can't love, it's because of fear of loss...his fear of loss drives him to bind the ones he loves, to the point of suffocation...his mother and sister do not mind being bound...but is it the same with Zoya...?? He thinks not...he is aware that she is like a free bird who's wings will be clipped if she flies too close to him...he knows he will cage her if she becomes his forever...

He is super successful and a brutal business tycoon...he knows his employees and his rivals fear him alike...here he uses fear to his advantage...he has set up a world where fear dominates and love lies low...and it's worked for him wonderfully...yet...

Zoya threatens to overturn this regime of fear and return his innocence back to him...but whenever she tries to break the shackles by standing upto him...trying to remove the blindfold...he pulls the noose even tighter...not because there is complete distrust...but because, every time she proves him wrong, his belief on his till now successful methods gets shaken a little...

So how does he counter this??...simple...do not believe what she says...do not let her challenge your methods...distrust her...distrust her to the point that she just gives up on even trying to get him to believe her and just go...leave him alone...deep down...he wants her badly...but his head has taken over his heart so mercilessly that it wishes that she would run away while she had the time...

Because unlike the others in his life, she loves him more than she fears him...and that is what he fears...her lack of fear...her running away from this marriage will be the trigger that will force Asad to choose for the first time ever...love or fear...what stays...and whatever stays this time...will be forever...
