Great post, loved Zoe today, that was awesome, now this Zoe was missing for a long time , sherni is back, Asad needed this, he looked so guilty, " mere kapde"was the dialog of the day.. The entire scene was so beautiful, what she said was so right she is madly in love with this guy and for him she tried to change herself so much, but what about six packs, instead of giving tahzeeb lectures, what has he done? I am so much in love with the scene..Superlike.. Great job Gul, it was a perfect scene. Now I want to see how he is going to pacify his Sherni, we need a big apology Mr.

I was just wondering where does that article "Asad is going to doubt tanveer" (something like that) fit in. They haven't shown anything related to that article. I guess Asad doesn't know anything Or maybe its too early.

OMG – ur post brought back good old memories of QH in initial days – u r sooo right the first time Asad and Zoya met he judged her when she was wearing bridal clothes and when she told him that her nikkha was not going to happen that day based on his reaction – her words had been – ab app muje yeh judgmental look dena band kare – (now don't give me this judgmental look)and his reply had been – aghar larkiya ghar se tamasha baan ki nahi nekli (if girls don't leave the house while making an ass of themselves) and today when he saw her in a skirt even after getting to know her better he is still judging her by her clothes – so IMO it's a full circle- a scene which was much needed before they confess or get married

To be fair to Asad his attitude is more so because of his ill conceived perceptions based on society (ironically very similar to her dad). However y that the minute she said if I am so wrong and bad don't do the nikkha with me all his anger washed away and he was scared. This is what Asad has to realize that her being close to him is more important and all that matters - he needs to accept and love her the way Zoya is because as u said:

When does a girl change herself, that even when she does all the things what she dislikes? Here you get a sneak peek into Zoya's mind. The desperation to be a part of Asad's life. Dont you feel sorry for her?

This raises a question in my head of what will happen when she meets her dad? Is she going to try and change and Asad will ensure that she does not loose herself in order to get acceptance from her dad? May be gift her jeans in the near future?😲Also u r are bang on about the Tazeb part - if u note whenever Asad has shouted at her in public she has never shouted back only when he yells at her in private she gives it to him – their first meetings, the episode with house rules, the meteorite shower night, after mangalpur when she makes paste for his hand and even after their engagement when he was not firm on his words "i do what i want". That is because this it was Tazeeb is and Zoya has it! She never disrespects him in public not even in front of his mother or when she is being deported!

Asad well needed it, for his judgmental nazariya towards Zoya. Nothing could have been a better thing apart from this. Not by making him jealous nor the examples of other girls, but then this. The vent of emotional furry by non other than His Miss Farooqqi from Amreeka

U r soo right – Asad needs to appreciate her – she can cook, sew, loves his family as much as him, will go to any length for him – yes, even lie to her appi for him - and has a pure, forgiving heart (note 1) – so what more can a guy ask for?

Note 1- albeit often her pure heart lands in the kind of mess that drives him crazy but it's all cool coz then we get r mitwa and mangalpur moments

Very nice post Ankie! Asad was like a dog with his tail between his legs while the sherni was roaring. Brilliant performance by SJ. With all the fire symbolism and the photo shoot before the Nikaah (so they have pix), your Mangalpur 2 and hospital wala Nikaah might be around the corner. Which equates to 3-4 weeks in telly world!
