Prologue-

"Kaash Ammi aapke Jeeju ko nahi jaanti hoti, aur aap humare saath nahi reh rahi hoti! Khuda jaane woh din kab aayega jab aap meri zindagi se ruksat hongi!", he concluded.
Flashback ends
"What the hell were you thinking Asad? How could you say such a thing?", he questioned himself.
A drop of tear fell off his eyes onto his palms.

Flashback
They were about to part their ways to their rooms when she lifted her hand along with him in a reflex being habitual of being handcuffed for the past days.
They looked at each other with unknown feelings as she spoke, "I'm sorry! Mujhe laga main abhi bhi aapse bandhi hui hoon!"
"I mean.. Handcuffed hoon!", she clarified.
Flashback ends
He thought about the close moments they spent together, the kiss he dropped on her forehead being relieved that she was alive! His eyes welled up as he fought with the unknown feelings building in him.

"But I'm fine now! You saved me!", she said as she held his hand.

"I mis judged her, shouted at her, accused her for being ill-mannered, yet she surprises me by being the most forgiving person! Ammi sahi kehti hai.. She has a heart of gold!", he thought to himself

Chp 2-

"Kaise ho?", he asked as he turned to the figure emerging from the darkness.
"Bhaijaan! Mere kuch bolne se pehle hi aap jaan jaate ho ke main hoon!", complained the guy.
"Ayaan! Ab tumhare aahat se pehchaan sakta hoon, Bhai hoon tumhara!", said Asad.
Ayaan grinned and hugged Asad. Asad smiled as Ayaan broke apart and saw his bhaijaan smiling.
"Aap smile bhi kar ne lage! Wah bhaijaan.. I like the changes...", said Ayaan with a grin.
"Shut up!", barked Asad.
"By the way ye changes aapki waali ke wajah se hai na?", asked Ayaan.
"Chup karo!", said Asad.
"Bhaijaan.. Batao na.. Miss New York ki wajah se?", asked Ayaan again.
"Haan... Ab tum jao yahan se.. Good Night!", said Asad pushing Ayaan towards the main gate.
"Haan haan.. Ja raha hoon bhaijaan! Bhagao mat! Ab to humein appointment lekar hi aana padega aapse milne ke liye!", complained Ayaan as he turned to walk out with a grin. Asad smirked at the retreating figure.

"Ye mera ghar nahi hai Mr. Khan.. Aap hi to bolte the.. Agar mera bass chale to main iss ghar ke baahar apna name plate lagwa dungi!", she said with a giggle.

Asad laughed at her childishness and stood next to her looking at her facial expressions which turned into a wide grin and someone exited from the Arrivals Gate.

Chp 3-

Asad stood there have a tornado of feelings. Confusion, anger, irritation.. He wasn't able to point out on that particular thing that he was feeling at that very moment. The sight of Zoya in another man's arms irritated him to the core for sure but he planned to ignore that.

"Yeah! I miss you guys too.. uhh.. very rarely because I have a wonderful family here. I barely get the time to miss anyone in NY! I love Bhopal and I love my family!", she replied with a smile.

"Waise Zoe.. You would have missed me sooo much na?", asked
"Yeah.. On Weekends, when I get up late in the mornings..", she replied with a giggle.
Asad looked at Zoya confused. Zoya smiled and said, "Mr. Khan! Karan used to wake me up on every weekend. Meri neend hi nahi khulti thi!"
Asad faked a smile and continued to drive. His imaginations went out of control and he started imagining Karan waking Zoya up in the morning.
"What the hell am I thinking? Asad.. Don't think wrong! Zoya bohot achhi ladki hai!", he thought to himself trying to convince himself.

"Aap kahan kho gaye the? You don't seem fine!", she said.
"No.. no.. I'm okay! Was thinking about office!", he said.
"Aap bhi na Mr. Khan! You and your boring office! Thoda to enjoy kijiye!", she complained.

"Par aapko samajhna chahiye.. Main aapse miley bina nahi reh sakta!", came the voice. Zoya's eyes popped out.
"Par we cannot meet.. Ammi also does not like it if I meet you often!", replied Asad.
Zoya's mouth opened in the form of an 'o'. She could not control herself, she quickly jumped into his room.
"Mr. Khan!!!!! Aaap.. Aap aise hain????", she shrieked.
Asad threw a confused look at her.
"Aise? Aise kaise?", he asked.
"Mr. Khan.. You know.. Uhh.. swinging the other way!", replied Zoya.

Chp 4-

"He is mad. Pagal hai poora Mr. Khan.. And you and him.. uhh... I'm so sorry for barging in! I think both of you need sometime alone!", she said and rushed out of the window.

"Mr. Khan! Aap yahan? See.. I'm really sorry for barging in. I just felt you were tensed so I came to check on you! It's okay Mr. Khan. Main phupi ko kuch nahi bataungi. I promise! I will keep your secret safe. But you know.. I never thought you would swing the other way!", said Zoya.

"Oh shit.. I'm so sorry Mr. Khan! I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Mere liye shayad ye normal nahi hai but aapke liye to normal hai.. I shouldn't have said that! But agar aap uss leechad ke saath khush hain, then I'm happy for you too!", she completed.

"Relax! Let's go out for some Ice Cream!", he said.
Zoya's eyes popped out. "What did you say Mr. Khan?? Please repeat!", she said not being able to believe the words that left his mouth.
"Let's. Go. Out. For. Some. Ice. Cream!", he repeated.
"You are not Mr. Khan... Mujhe mere Mr. Khan waapas kijiye!", she shrieked.
Asad smirked at her statement.
"Mere Mr Khan? Aapke Mr. Khan kaise hain?", he asked with a smile playing on his lips.
"Uhh.. wo.. Sadu hai.. akdu hai.. boring hain aur emotionally challenged insaan hai!", said Zoya with a grin.

"Ummm.. This is yummy-licious!", she moaned in delight.
"Stop it Miss Farooqui..", he said curtly.
"Mr. Khan.. You should try this.. It's with chunks of strawberry! I love it!", she said extending her cone to his lips.

Asad's Room
He went to his cupboards and took out Zoya's Ammi's Earring that he had kept with himself.
"The best day I have ever spent! Why can't I see her hugging her friend and I wanted her to hug me today! I just keep thinking about her all the time! I just want to be with her. Smile with her, laugh with her. And damn... I will make sure I cancel all the planes from Bhopal to New York.", he spoke to himself unknown that a pair of eyes were looking at him and listening to what he said to himself.
