Chapter 3

Arnav Singh Raizada hid his mischevious smile as he heard Asad's guest crack a joke on him and chose to walk in silently following his best friend who was clearly furious with his guest.

Asad was furious at this female. First of all because of her ammi was annoyed with him..cudnt she have waited a while longer..and to top it all she's making fun of him under his roof.

Suddenly zoya turned and as she saw him, she yelled- 'you...allah miyaan..it's you..'

Asad- aap??? Pata hona chahiye tha itna behuda sher aap jaise batame..

Dilshaad interrupted her son- asad.. Yeh koi tarika hai..zoya mehmaan hai

Asad- ammi yeh ..

Zoya- what mr khan she giggled- omg she loved irritating people who got irritated fast.. This was going to be fun she thought and smiled

Dilshaad- zoya this is asad my son.. And thats arnav who is also like my son..

Zoya smiled- hi arnav..nice to meet you..I am zoya farooqui

Asad fumed and sat on the sofa while Arnav who was thoroughly enjoying the Scenario fold out in front of him - no girl had ever made fun of his best friend they way Zoya did..well he was enjoying it and he smiled and extended his hand and then murmurred to Zoya- 'well honestly I care for my best friend, but that was a good one u know.'.he smirked

Zoya smirked- thx

Arnav- so u guys left before we came..

Zoya- oh thts alright but issi Baat par ek aur sher arz hai arnav my friend,-

Jo doosron ko wait karatein hain , jo dusron ko wait karatein hai

Aur fir sorry Kahe bina shout kartein hain

Kyun wahi log hamesha tameez par lecture dete hain.

Shukriya shukriya!!

Asad fumed at seeing his mother, sister and best friend laugh along with Ms. farooqui who was already getting on his nerves and before he could say anything, he heard a voice behind him-

Khushi walking down - Zo seriously that was a little rude..

Asad Thot to himself -see miss farooqui even ur friend agrees on ur manners

Zoya grinned- oho khushi chuck that,come and meet mr khan and his friend they were to come and receive us..

Khushi smiled- hello , hi I'm khushi

Asad smiled at the girl immediately giving her a plus for siding with him-hi I'm asad and this is my friend Arnav Singh Raizada..

Shock reeled through Arnav and Khushi as they looked at each other, recognition setting in as they shook hands, silently-

Dilshaad- Acha chalo sab pehle khana khalo...

Dinner was an amusing affair at Khan's that day '

1.with Zoyas and Khushis, and najma's constant chattering,

2.Dilshaad thoroughly enjoying the scene.

3.Mr khan sharing a talk in the middle with khushi and giving angry glares to her friend Zoya and

4.Mr Raizaada talking to Zoya and constantly stealing a glance at her friend,the girl who ha caught his attention earlier that day, but was failing in his attempt to get her to look at him- as she was constantly avoiding his gaze.

As they finished dinner -

Khushi, just wanting to runaway from his gaze- ok guys nice to meet you all, I'm so tired..ill see u in the morning and before anyone cud say anything she ran up..

Zoya was suprised -ok sach mein fufi guess she's really tired..

Dilshaad- koi Baat nai zoya let her rest. Toh arnav Naniji kab aa rahi hai Lucknow se Akash aur payal ki anniversary ke liye??

Zoya was alarmed at Lucknow getting mentioned.

Arnav who was still confused over Khushis behavior anyway replied- 'next week ammi.. Aap sabko aana hai..zoya tum bhi and even ur friend..'

Zoya smiled- 'yes ok for sure..if ur friend Mr khan would allow', she joked'

Asad angrily replied - very funny Ms.farooqui .why don't you just shut..

Dilshaad glared at her son- Asad'pls tum'

Asad- thike ammi sirf aap keh rahi hain isiliye ..and he stomped to his room.

They all retired for the day.

Zoya walked in to the room to see Khushi waiting up for her.

Zoya- Kya hua Khushi..why ddnt you just run away like that?You are upset about something is it??

Khushi- "well hmm kind off..first of all Zack called , and he said he wanted to explain that I had it all wrong..but I ddnt give him a chance to'and second Mr.Raizada was the man at the airport I had spilled tea over.so It was pretty awkward", she said hiding the fact that what was bothering her was the way his gaze would never leave her and the affect it had on her.He was by far the sexiest and the most handsome man she had ever come across.Her heart was flipping everytime she knew he was looking at her.

Zoya ' Whoa, Zack tht fool'next time he calls u..give the fone to me Khush ill fix him'tum toh jaanti ho ki Zoya sab kuch karsakti hai..and as far as Arnav- seriously he ddnt mind it at all it seemed..hes a nice fellow not as akdu as Mr.Akdu Ahemed Khan

Khushi hugged her best friend- well I kinda did that tho..but thanks..you are amazing u know that..and btw why so much mocking at Asad?

Zoya laughed and narrated her the airport incident.and Khushi cudnt help but laugh at Zoyas craziness.A while later they deceided to get some sleep.

Asad Ahemed Khan was in a furious mood as he entered his room, because Miss Farooqui was going to be living under his very roof and he couldn't stand her already.She is everything he ddnt like in a woman. Strangely enough her friend was more polite and not as crazy as she was, and he just knew it would be so much easier, as atleast he would be friends with one of his guests. Maybe he would ask Khushi to knock some sense into the supercrazy Miss Farooqui.

His heart disagreed to that tho as it whispered to him- shes breathtakingly beautiful you know. His brain said- yeah so what- I don't care and it doesn't matter to me what you ,the heart feels.And he changed and retired for the day.

Arnav left for Shantivan in a very weird state of mind. No girl had ever caught his attention the way Khushi had- with her smile,her delicate and exquisite beauty, her innocencent face, -but what pissed him off was that she wudnt even look at him let alone talk to him. On the other hand he had instantly become friends with Zoya which was another rare incident altogether. But something in his heart flickered as he thought of khushi-why did she have this non-explainatory affect on him???Why did he want to talk to her?? Maybe Zoya would help- he thought..but his ASR immediately surfaced and silenced his heart and for the first time - ASR slept with a conflict between his mind and heart.

Khushi tried to get some sleep..but the Raizada's face kept haunting her mind but she deceided that, she would stay miles away from him as much as she could.She was still hurting from her break up and most importantly she wasn't going to let any man come in the way of her mission to India- Khushi from her conversation with fufi and Asad had found out that they had some relatives and links in Bhopal- a place that held the secret of Ammi's death.And she was going to seek any help she could from Asad ' to reach to the depth of the matter, when the time was right..She would do this for Zoya,her family.

Zoya tried to get some sleep thinking about Mr.Khan and his rude and angry glares.

Her brain- why is he so mean and judgemental??

Her heart- but hes hot and irristitable when hes angry.

Zoya shut off her heart and told herself- Seriously?? Zoya uv lost it..u dislike the man to the core already.Phew..anyway the mission at hand..I know for sure that Khushis parents death and Ammis death have to have some link. Even Appi suspects the same.And it all started in Lucknow,what if her parents death wasn't an accident??what if it was all planned?? and Arnav is from Lucknow.I need to get his help on this, when the time comes, to reach to the depth of these secrets which haunt me and khushi.
