Part III: No one messes with ZoGa

(I cannot PM please; too time consuming). I have gone with a continuation'..

Zoya and Asad stared at one another. Zoya was stunned that Asad was jealous. She was so happy and excited. Asad felt slightly relieved that he had been honest but the big confession was yet to come.

Z-A: Mr. Khan, why are you jealous? I mean, Daniel is a friend just as Tannu is yours. If I am not jealous, then why are you? Mr. Khan, let me go.

A-Z: Zoya, I meant it: YOU ARE NOT GOING. I cannot bear the thought of you with another man. If you want to then I will accompany you. AND WHO SAID YOU ARE NOT JEALOUS OF TANNU? You are as jealous of her as I am of him.

Z-A: Jealous, my foot.

A (wicked grin): Oh! Is that so? Let me count the number of times I have watched your face turn green.

Zoya smiled.

A-Z: Ms. Farroukhi, Zoya, WOH actually, you know we are different but we also complete each other

Zoya completed the statement for him: as a plate and spoon Yes, Mr. Khan, please finish before I turn 60.

Asad smiled and as he was to say the magic words, Tannu screamed. For once, Asad was irked with the interruption and Zoya was helpless as Tanveer had succeeded again. Asad excused himself. Zoya sat in Asad's chair and was in tears. She felt a hand on her shoulder and looked up to see Gayatri and Damien. Gayatri understood Zoya's fears and she felt she had to do something for Zee. Gayatri encouraged Zoya to share her fears and concerns. Zoya mentioned all that Tannu had done and her inability to bring it to the forefront.

G-Z: Zee, In order to take on the Devil, one needs to be a Satan and not an Angel. You know that I am the best in the Satanic thinking and You are the best in the Logical thinking and as a team we are unstoppable. Zee baby, do not fear as Gee is here.

Damien looked fondly as his petite wife and his sister hugged it out. He was overly concerned that Asssad did not trust Zee. In a relationship it was important to trust the partner and right now Asad did not believe in Zoya. His wife was also concerned about the same but did not share her fears with Zoya as she did not want to worry her. Before Asad could return Gayatri and Damien returned to their hotel. A new plan was forming in Gayatri's head (her husband knew that look).

Next morning:

Phupi and Appi were discussing the nikah. Zoya's Jeeju would join the melee in two days. Asad walked into the room and found Zoya missing. On enquiring, he found that she had gone to meet Daniel. Asad thought NOT AGAIN. THE MEETINGS WERE TOO FREQUENT. Just then Tannu came in and wanted to talk to him but he excused himself. Asad was getting very irritated with Tanveer but could not ask her to leave. He did feel that something was amiss. YET he could bring himself to believe that Tanveer was capable of all the happenings. Why would his childhood friend do this? He also knew that Zoya would never ever lie and would never intentionally hurt him.

Just then the door-bell rang. Tanveer opened the door and saw a petite, pretty woman with a warm smile and sharp eyes. It seemed like she was scrutinising Tanveer. For the first time, Tanveer felt exposed.

The woman said "Hey! My name is Gayatri Subramanian Matthew aka Gee. I am Zoya's best friend and you are???".

Appi ran to the door and hugged Gee (again). Phupi knew Gayatri but acted as she had met her for the first time. Asad walked in and Appi introduced him as Zoya's fiance.

Gayatri played her part to the hilt: "Appi, Zoya's husband will be determined by me. He is not her fiance/husband unless I say so. GOTCHA"

Asad sighed. Here was another of Ms. Farroukhi's specimens. Did she not have a normal friend? Her friends were abnormal like her. Just the mere thought of her brought a smile to his face. Gayatri found the brooding Asad extremely mysterious. She sensed that there was a lot of hurt and pain in him. Perhaps that is the reason Zoya and Asad are soul mates

(Nothing escaped Gayatri as she was one of the best and brightest lawyers in the U.S. She could read and understand people. Her gut told her that Asad was the right man for her Zee BUT there was a thorn called Tanveer. Not for long as Gayatri Subaramanium Matthew aka Gee was the new gardener).

G-A: Asssad, May I call you that? Oh! Well, even if you have a problem I do not care. Appi, where is Zee?

Appi: She is with Daniel.

G to all: Danny boy is here. Hmmm, I am surprised that Asssad is not fuming at his competition. It so weird that Zee is with Danny and Asad is at home.

When Asad heard the statement, he was furious at himself. He realized the more he waited, Daniel would take his Zoya away from him. The mere thought scared him.

G-A: Asssad, would you be a darling and bring the bags to Zee's room. I mean, you are her fiance so you have to be nice to me. I am her BEST FRIEND.

Asad nodded and helped Gayatri with the bags. Just then Zoya walked in. As soon as she saw Gayatri, she ran and hugged her. They were screaming and shouting.

Asad was shocked but controlled himself as he was enjoying the moment. He just could not hate the MISFIT.

In Zoya's room:

G-Z: Are we ready to battle it out? Yes, we are. Zee we need a code word for her and also let us start the ZoGa language.

Z-G: Yes. I am so glad that you are here. I felt so done trying to prove myself to him.

(Gayatri thought there is no need to prove if there is trust. But Asad did not trust Zoya BUT that would soon change. Asad would run after Zoya for her love and for her trust:)).

G-Z: Zee, Trust me, the man is perfect yet imperfect for you. You need not worry as we are here. Tannu is dead meat.

Zee and Gee in unison: Tannu Baby, watch out. No one messes with the ZoGa

Wow..I m enjoying this now..I'd rather read the os, Ss, or ff instead of the actual show. Tanveer is really pissing me off. However I do watch other parts except tanveer's.
