This was AMAZING. His trauma is so big.. it's a parallel universe. It just struck me that in the show it's Zoya who had a traumatic childhood and nightmares and a myriad of reasons to become stone hearted and numb. But she doesn't. She chooses to live her live happily, spreading her happiness.

And you've done a marvellous job of showing what would happen if Asad went through a similar trauma. He wasn't the lively, bubbly type of person in the first place. Sure he was mischievous, but he kept to himself, never showing his pain. And keeping that all bottled up can consume a person to a pit of darkness that's almost impossible to get out of. This is what I see here. How his memories of his mother's death, the agony, the helpssness, the realization that she wasn't coming back... were all eating him alive. Taunting him, haunting him and threatening to make him feel something he'd been avoiding for years: Grief and acceptance.

I am simply enthralled by your writing. I was really not expecting him to send her with Ayaan. But I was anticipating him not keeping her with him. But I'm really curious now. Did his father rape his mother? Was he the reason she actually died? So many questions! Need to know!!! Sorry this is such a somber and analytical post haha just really wanted to say what this story made me think about and how I admire your ability to turn a simple scene (a man trying to have sex with an unwilling woman) into a saga of emotional roller coasters and realizations.

Beautifully written and waiting ANXIOUSLY for the next part 😳

I was so hooked reading it that when I reached the end of chapter 4, I was actually annoyed that now I would've to wait till I get my hands on the next chapter. You better update the next part soon missy and if you've stopped doing PMs I'll stalk this one myself 😛 It'll be a first. I never stalk anything being the lazy busybee that I am but yes I LOVE this one to such an extent that I'm willing to become a stalker 🤣

I felt so bad for Zoya throughout. You have penned down her emotions sooo well! And the worst part is, she belonged from such a loving family! And now she has to face such horrors. Thank God Asad didn't rape her!! I would've had to kill him and then I'll be forever guilty for murdering such a handsome hunk 🤣

Asad's agony was sooo well portrayed! I actually kinda felt sorry for him. And I loved the fact that he isn't going to send her back. Shows he has soon human left in him 😛

Ayaan is sooo sweet! That's all I'm gonna say. And Zoya's brother's name is Ashar! Is it because of Humsafar or simply because Ashar is like the hottest name ever?? 🤣
