You truly read my mind. I completely agree with everything that you said. Many people keep saying that he shouldn't have hugged her but to him, he is just comforting and being there for his childhood/best friend. But as soon as he realized that his action hurt Zoya, he took away his hand. He could see that it was hurt and not just playful jealousy. Great post 👏

Asad values his relationships..He values his friendship with Tanu..He wants to be for his friend..He obviously has no idea about Tanu's reality..she hasn't done anything evil in front of the Khan so they never doubt her..they have no idea about how evil she is so they obviously are gonna be by her side especially when she's going through health issues...But still Asad moved away from his friend because he loves, values, cares, and respects his relationship with Zoya more than his friendship with Tanu!!! Thank you so much! That scene was one of my favorites so far..it showed so much of their relationship growth. And Karan and Surbhi did an amazing job..didn't say a word..yet spoke so much!

Asad truly understood Zoya's heart..he understood her silence..her heart..and he genuinely looked concerned for her..he knew that Zoya was hurt...Asad may not realize or admit but he has changed a lot..Remember after Mangalpur when Zoya came to put turmeric paste on Asad's wounds and AsYa had an argument? I remember Asad's words..he said why should I change? Look where he stands now...a changed man...Asad values his relationships..He values his friendship with Tanu..He wants to be there for his friend..He obviously has no idea about Tanu's reality..she hasn't done anything evil in front of the Khans so they have no reason to doubt her..they have no idea about how evil she is so they obviously are gonna be by her side especially when she's going through the health issues...But still Asad moved away from his friend because he loves, values, cares, and respects his relationship with Zoya more than his friendship with Tanu!!! I disagree with people who wrote that Asad shouldn't have hugged Tanu..yes, none of us liked it because we love AsYa but Asad values his relationships..He values his friendship with Tanu..she's his childhood friend. He wants to be there for his friend..He obviously has no idea about Tanu's reality..she hasn't done anything evil in front of the Khans so they have no reason to doubt her..they have no idea about how evil she is so they obviously are gonna be by her side especially when she's going through the health issues. But more than his friendship with Tanu, he values his relationship with Zoya..he may call his engagement nakli..all rasams fake (which by the way he knows that they are asli and he respects them)..but he has no doubt about his love for Zoya..and his love for Zoya is as asli as it can get..and he honors that love..and for the sake of that love he stepped back from his friend!
