Dilshad: "Asad, where's Zoya? Is she okay?"

Asad: "Ammi, forget about her, are you feeling better now?"

Dilshad: "Why would you say something like that Asad? Where is she?"

Asad: "Ammi, all this arguing isn't good for your health. She left, and I wasn't about to let her stay anyway. She's the sole reason for why you are here right now, on this hospital bed. And you're asking about her?"

Dilshad: "ASAD! What in the world is wrong with you? Zoya got shot FIRST! She was trying to protect me all throughout. When she got shot, she didn't even move, she just kept standing there trying to save me!"

He felt a billion needles prick through his heart. He couldn't breathe. Flashbacks of his hands against her warm cheeks kept replaying in front of his eyes. He tried to move but it felt like someone was holding him down. Nothing made sense. He hadn't even looked at her state when he saw his ammi on the ground. He couldn't see the pool of blood that she was sitting in trying to save HIS ammi. He couldn't see her small hands covered in blood holding the side of her waist. She was hurt. She was more hurt than his ammi. She didn't even get help at the hospital. She was running in that state with him trying to get HIS ammi aided. HELL, she even walked towards him holding her waist and apologized for something that had nothing to do with her. He fell to the ground. He remembered her just turn around and walk away when he'd slapped her. She hadn't said a bloody word!

Goddamnit Zoya! You used to defend yourself so much. What happened when you actually needed to knock some sense into me? Zoya why couldn't you have just said so? Oh my god Zoya if anything happened to you...

Dilshad: "Usse abhi le kar aao Asad."

Asad: "Ammi mein apni jaan dedoonga magar Zoya ko kuch nahi hone doonga."

Dilshad: "Yeh toh tumhe pehle sochna chahiye tha"

Dilshad: "Bring her back Asad."

Asad: "Ammi, I'd rather die than let anything happen to Zoya"

Dilshad: "You should have thought about that before you accused her"

He rushed out of that room, feeling his heart give away to hers. He picked up his phone and feverishly gave a call to the head of police to file a missing person's complaint. He parked right in front of his front doors and ran up to the room that once belonged to her. It still smelt of her.
