We've all seen it that people who've really deserved never won and those who got votes or whose show rates the most gets it irrespective of whether the actor in it really can act or not. I think its not just the best actor award that KSG or even Surbhi were talking about, it was the effect of seeing an entire channel biased ceremony. Considering that trp ratings are also counted QH has been doing really well, but neither Zee nor Sony won awards, it was just Colors and SP.

A lot of actors must feel the way he did, but he just managed to say it aloud, which is fair enough in my opinion. If he was a newcomer I would agree with what you said, but so many years into the job I think he must be feeling the bias from a long time.

I watched the interview you mentioned and I felt he is too honest for his own good. What others feels too but hesitate to say in front of the media , he said without thinking about the reaction. Did it make him sound like a looser? Yes it did perhaps, but I found this guy honest.
Anyway everyone knows that every award show in India are rigged and manipulated, be it movie awards or television awards. They are far from being judged by the people. The real game happens as per the channel and sponsors choice. It's a money game. I didn't mind because what this guy KSG said is absolutely right , no matter what made him say this.

KSG has the full right (and talent ) to think he'd win. QH is doing great now and I'm happy for that. No doubt it deserved to win.

Honest words always sound blunt, I honestly do not think he meant to disrespect the person who won the award but basically the Jury or system who decides these awards. Anyways we can agree to disagree. It's anyways a matter of time before many other actors will speak about this too, because awards have long gone stopped existing to reward people, they are only for entertainment purpose to garner trp's, hence they make it an affair biased to the channel it has to air on, so that viewers of that channel are pleased.
