Exactly..I got so annoyed when some of those fans who shall not be named made fun of SJ's english..Thats just so cheap..She seems to have a good vocab..The accent is no big deal..Atleast she is comfortable being herself..I hate those pretentious ppl who speak with a false accent..Thats so off putting

Not from India so I had no idea that was actually a thing ! -_- I don't see the big deal either once it's understandable it shouldn't matter.

Um, I love Surbhi's voice and accent.

There are people who don't like it? O.O

One of the reasons I watch this show is because I love her voice, believe it or not.

Even I don't think Surbhi has all correct pronunciations, she tends to get the flavor of her mother toungh in some pronunciations and I think it's very normal among majority of Indians regardless of the degree in English. There are few exceptions-those who are born and brought-up in metropolitan cities. And Surbhi is not from metropolitan city and she seems like a person who communicates a lot in her native language than English, so it does effect one's pronunciation. For me her acting skills cover-up all these minute things, so I never care about it more.

I hate hate hate fake accents. Cant even tell you how much. You should definitely try to lose your accent but not gain an accent which doesnt come naturally to you😆 I love the fact that Surbhi is bindaas and herself.

ahh, I love her voice and expressions.

Initial episodes she didn't have much of voice modulation, I attribute it to the time takes to get into the character, but later she has been wonderful in voice modulation.

Exactly if AAK is such a spoilsport regarding passionate and intense romance, atleast give us some sensible and serious discussion between the two. They both need to talk rather than fight like kids...agar ek ya do scene main they have an eye opening discussion regarding themselves. how good a developmemt would that be? A scene where Zoya opens up about her past in NY or her appi and jiju. Or a scene where Asad speaks about his troubled childhood or how hard his mom worked for their family and so on. Im not saying they should stop the bikering AsYa but a lil more mature romance would do wonders.
AsYa is not like the couple who shall not be named's fairytale romance. AsYa are two grown up, well developed and deep characters.

SOTY was such a crapfest..Varun and Sid looked like pedophiles romancing Alia who honestly doesn't look a day older than 15🤢

And yes i agree with everything else you said..Am not sure if a separation or a love triangle is the only way to bring about the angst..They are such well written characters and provide for such interesting scenarios without really involving a third party..

I know I really love her voice and sometimes her pronunciation is a bit off but that doesn't bother me. I think her accent is way cooler than my american accent that so much people strive to sound like 😆and it's just certain fans that need shallow reasons to hate her because they can't find anything else.
