By that logic, shouldn't Billi have been shot dead by now, seeing as Dilshaad was shot? What does Asad think - that Billi and Dilshaad have janam janam ka rishta?!

Haha EXACTLY! I felt second-hand embarrassment for Asad, to be honest. What a genuinely stupid thing to say.

In the end, the more he appreciates and glorifies Tanveer, the more he will be dissapointed when her true face comes out. Maybe he is kind of trying to overlook the good qualities Zoya posses just to have some excuses for not expressing his feelings. But when the truth comes out I hope he regrets trusting that Billi.

I agree with the point you've made about him trying to overlook Zoya's good qualities, but what he said makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. I was expecting there to some hilarious BG music along with a sarcastic remark from Zoya after he made this statement.
