Said that she knows Asad since childhood. But I thought they are meeting after 20 years so how can she say she knows him and what his silence means. Idiot.

She has gone mad.. She is claiming she knows Asad more than his mother. She is meeting him after 20 years and Dilshad was with him for all the time..

Actually, entirely possible...
We have seen how Mr. Khan likes to be his own worst enemy... hence, I can easily foresee a situation where once Dilshaad has chosen Ms. Farouqui, feeling like he cannot ever do right by Ms.Farouqui, he seeks to do what is 'best' for her...

So either he asks Tunveer to pretend to agree to marry him, or Tunveer suggests this solution.
(Tunveer, of course, does not want it as pretense)
Mr. Khan may grasp at these straws offered to 'escape' 'hurting' Ms. Farouqui as he thinks he will.

I sincerely doubt the wedding between Mr.Khan and Ms. Farouqui will take place in the allotted 10 days (4-6 weeks of Soap time).
