The only problem is if Asad marries Zoya nothing in the world can keep them apart...unless he uses it as an excuse to punish her..you brought all this about, got me married when I am not interested, to the point she really starts believing he does not love her...that means no more mitwas for some time...if on the other hand, after Zoya bullying him, he agres to marry Tanu...Zoya can play Bond, break his engagement, knock some senseinto hi shead, Ayan can torture him for even thinking about another woman...(updated the Lamhe post..check it out later..)...Siddiqui still has some claim over his daughter..in other words, there is a lot of story with bittersweet romance...😉
On why he did not let her go if he intended not to marry her... well not at short term, but may be long term, and since this was at short notice...and he has to think in Zoya's best interests...Does he think a better future awaits Zoya with someone who can understand her better, rather, someone who will not hurt her the way an unreasonable love has tormented his mother...that was the reason he refused to speak into the laptop...and the reason he let her go when she decided to leave before the coin toss...the reason he rushed to the Airport was because he had humiliated her and pushed her into deportation- something she did not deserve. The only way he could make it up to her then was to put the ring on her...diff was that he really felt that moment, yet he tried to digest it later...
Again, he tried to convince himself and 'cherish' the feeling of being engaged...yet he wants Zoya to shut up and reiterates the fact that it was namesake only...
Confusing, na... Could go either way...
Or may be he chooses Zoya and she breaks it in the last moment because she realises it is a burden for him...exposes Tanveer...(Zoya does have the history of being a wedding breaker!. Be it hers..Mariam's, Humeira's..again hers... 😆 I'll stop thinking now!)
