The posts regarding Surbhi's beauty inspired me to share this anecdote. It is just a rejoinder to all those who have a different opinion.
I guess beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. But I will tell you one thing.
My dad, who usually grouses good-humoredly on all TV actresses' appearance whenever I am watching a show just to make me mad- "She is too scrawny", "Her nose is too long", etc,. saw Surbhi, and he was like- "This girl is pretty. Avaloda mookum muzhiyum tiruttama irukku", which in Tamil means that she has well-defined features.
Coming from him, that's high praise indeed!😆
The best part is, he doesn't understand Hindi so well. So he is completely exasperated by the loud BG music of Hindi shows which he imitates to perfection:) He will be like- "Gosh, did they have to play this tune again"? 😊
P.S. He especially hates the "meow" tune for Billo Rani. While I am watching, he will say, "Now...now", and the tune will play. And we end up rolling on the floor with laughter, while my mother rolls her eyes at our silly antics😃
