"Carpe Diem" is what I have to remind myself all the time. It's a Latin phrase for "seize the moment"! And ever since I have heard of this phrase, it has been my motto for life. Many times I tend to focus so much on the past and the future that I miss out on the present. So just wanted to suggest y'all..PLEASE don't worry about the future!!!
I know that I should be writing about "Qubool Hai" and I am not directly writing anything about the show but India Forum is kinda like a family now so I thought about sharing with y'all a real life principle that can help y'all on daily basis. I have just noticed and felt the hurt that y'all are going through unnecessarily by living in the future.
I wanna quote a couple of scriptures from the Bible that can help you not just while watching Qubool Hai but in your life NOW and in the FUTURE...
Jesus says, "Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?" (Matthew 6:27)
"So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble." (Matthew 6:34)
Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes! :)
For a real life scenario, Carpe Diem doesn't mean that you don't plan for the future..yes, you need to plan for the future but don't start living there. You gotta live in the present and make the most of it.
In relation to Qubool Hai..you can't really plan the future..you can't really change anything..you are not the writer of the story..so what's the point of stressing out? Constantly thinking about what wrong can happen in the future is only spoiling your today, your mood, making you worried, giving you headaches, panic and anxiety attacks and you can't do anything about it...TV is for the entertainment..Yes, we do get involved with the characters, story, actors emotionally..I understand that..but don't let it effect your mind and soul so much that you are having problems with your health. I am not exaggerating..I read a few people mention that they are stressed out, frustrated, and even having blood pressure problems because of the show. How can you allow a TV show to have so much grip on you? Don't take me wrong, I have been a Karan Singh Grover fan since DMG and now an AsYa fan and I do get pretty attached to the characters too but friends..don't get so intense..life is much more than a TV soap..AsYa's love story is not the end of the world..You matter, your life matters, your health matters, your day matters, your mood matters..When you are having a rough day, it effects everyone around you..and some of you are having a rough weekend and its only because of a TV show..that's just sad! I am pretty sure that God has a better plan for your life than being depressed because of a TV show!!!
Friends, Carpe Diem, chillax, and get ready to enjoy the upcoming AsYa scene because KSG is gonna be at his romantic best! ;) and Mr. Asad Ahmed Khan who is super orthodox is gonna be as filmy as anyone can get and its gonna be EPIC!!! "Mitwa Ishq Pe Zor Nahin!"
Love y'all and have a wonderful week!
