Today's episode possibly had one of the most beautiful AsYa moments ever. The love "test" started out as a comedy moment...a scene to roll on the floor with and then Asad describes seeing Zoya for the first time. I don't know about you guys but I had tears in my eyes. The underlying emotion and passion to what Asad was saying. How can a girl not swoon?
Which brings me to Zoya. The girl, though in love, is absolutely blind to what Asad feels. While her sub-conscious knows that Asad feels greatly for her...for some reason she has refused to acknowledge these feelings at a more realistic level along with her own deep feelings for him. But I guess deep emotions can never be hidden because all it took was one innocent question from Asad about her wanting to be engaged to him and her heart screamed yes! (Did anyone else swoon at Asad smiling at her when she said that?)š³
All in all today was a balanced episode.
With reference to Zoe going to HumYaan's engagement- WHY ZOE WHY? Why must you meddle...?? I know you mean well but seriously!
Nice post, Del! That was really a very beautiful scene.
I think there had been many discussions in this forum in the past as to why Asad hasnt been shown as recollecting their first meeting at the mazaar where he was clearly mesmerized by her. In all his previous memories, he remembered the meeting where he almost knocked her down and then the ones in the mall but never this. We got our answer š
He does remember and how beautifully it was brought out! How can we not swoon?
The girl whom it was meant for, well she just looked surprised. Zoya just didnt realise that he was describing her - and that he was indirectly telling her that he had seen her before they met!!
Zoya, how blind and dense can you be, child??
Oh yes, deep down they both are in love. While Asad knows on a conscious level, Zoya doesnt. I think partly the reason for this is that she has a very candyfloss vision of love - roses, horses and all that... So obviously Asad is so far away from that vision (Thankfully) ; she just doesnt seem to get it that she has fallen in love - Bells may not have rung and petals may not have fallen on her... - But she has found a man who will be with her whenever she needs any support. As Bheegi's wonderful post said it that day - AAK may slap her, be rude to her but will be there for her! She sure is a lucky woman. Maybe the forced separation next week will make her realise the extent of her feelings for him!!
