I think the greatest irony of life is the fact that we never really get to say what we want to the people we love and what we do end up saying does not,even an ounce,justify the strength of our feelings. But some people do not need words to prove the depth of their passion for one another.
Asad is one those people. He is reticent and and quiet,even though a myriad of emotions passes within him. He very well knows that it is Zoya for whom his heart pines for. It is her he wants- MIND,BODY AND SOUL. Yet,not a single word.
"Wherever She Goes, I Just Hope She Finds Happiness.."
When you place someone else's happiness over yours,its NOT LOVE then. Its JUST NOT LOVE then. Its MUCH MORE than that. So much more.
When soulmates meet and have to part,its Destiny that hurts them the most. The feeling of what it might have been if they were together. The "WHAT IF" haunts them for the rest of their lives.
When two people who have nothing in common feel a connection that LITERALLY DEFINES THEM,thats something that transcends the monotony of human space. "Opposites attract",they say, but so much? That one would be willing to give up the air they breathe just to shake off in the stillness of the other? Just to see Life smiling at the other again? No. Asad-Zoya's saga is no normal "Opposites Attract" thing. It is a revelation of self-defying love.Without the boundaries,without the doubts,and without the thought of one's ownself.
When Soulmates collide in this world so wide,the spark that enlightens their soul,gives a new meaning to their distraught existence, and makes them a complete whole, HOW EASY IS IT TO JUST GIVE THAT UP? When you see the person who drives you nuts with her/his antics and smile,who gets on your nerves with their words and into your heart with their eyes,just brush past your life, HOW EASY IS IT TO LET THEM GO?
IT ISNT EASY. AT ALL. But it is easier than telling them how you really feel. How you would do anything to make them stay. Anything to make them happy. Anything to hold them in your arms forever. Never to let go. Period.
I think that is what Asad was all about last night. He knew that his three words would have been enough to stop Zoya. Would have been enough for her to stay in his arms forever. But he also understands that HE himself isnt good enough. For her or her life. He is dark and twisted,with issues that he feels will only push Zoya away if they ever establish their feelings for each other.
In other words,He LOVES her. In a way only Soulmates can love. It is a different kind of love. The kind which is most often missing in today's selfish,despot and diabolical world.
He Loves Her Enough To Let Her Go.
And She Loves Him Enough To Not Question it.
