Of course! Not a problem. All writers just need to send in their OS's before the deadline because after deadline, you cant edit or re-write it.

What constitutes as advertising your OS?

Obviously you can't straight up tell people to vote for your OS, but telling your friends on IF that you wrote an OS for this contest...is that advertising as well.

No that wont be advertising unless you tell them which is your OS entry or the code number.

Advertising your OS means-
-Posting your OS entry on the main QH forum.
-Sending it to your friends through PM's.
-Posting it anywhere else in the cyberspace.
-Telling your friends to vote for you.
-Giving your friends the code number to your OS.

Dammit...I wrote the whole OS which is about 4-5 pages and I just read on the first page that the OS has to take place on Eid or something like that with Asad gifting Zoya something. I guess I forget to read that part...all I read was that it had to have diamond ring and strawberry in it.

Asad does gift Zoya a diamond ring in my OS but my OS takes place in the middle of the night in a shed. There is no Eid or occassion...so can I still turn it in? Pretty please...have been writing it for the past 2 and a half hours now.

And about the Eid thing, It doesnt necessarily have to be Eid. It just needs to be some special occasion that's it. Eid is just an option for writers if they cant think up any other occasion.

Sure you can send it in 😊 It's not a big problem. As long as you have the words strawberry and diamond ring in it.
