Hahaha...I did like it a lil because it was ok n funny too but I seriously did not like the treatment of the characters and selection of actors. Some of them just didn't suit.

@Rin-Neil Caffrey is awesome😳 Its just so freakin unfair that he is gay..Not that we had a chance otherwise😆 And yes, completely agree about PnP..The confession scene gives me goosebumps till date..'Towards him i have been kinder than i have been towards myself' or 'Do you expect me to rejoice at the inferiority of your circumstances?' are lines i'l never forget😆 And the dignity with which she gave it back to him..Such a powerful scene so brilliantly conceived by Austin..And yes, Collin Firth was awesome as Darcy..He was the only one who came close.

I have yet to read all thr other Jane Austen, I have read the summary but Im afraid to read the books since I LOVE P&P and Mr.Darcy so much Im afraid the other books might not be as good as P&P

I did read about Jane Erye but the story seemed rather depressing especially all the pain and trouble she has to go through.

Those lines u said are... I have no words! The confession scene was beautiful, Mr.Darcy's nervousness was well portrayed by Colin in the tv series. 😃 The way she answered his proposal! Poor man he was so heartbroken and kept trying to forget her.
But I found the most memorable part was Lizzie and Darcy meeting again in Pemberley 😃 The great change in the way he treats her then iintroducing her to his sister as if wanting her to be close to the only important and close person in his life and Lizzie beginning to realise her growing love for him ❤️
Then the way he helps her family out by finding Lydia and all that was just... I dunno what to say. Their love story was so simple compared to the stories today, there was no physical intimacy or anything like that but still U cant help but grin widely when you read or see Lizzie and Mr.Darcy interact.

P.S: Kate & Leo are just perfet for each other! <33 ill never understand y they never got together.

@Rin-I absolutely love their interactions in Pemberley..Especially the part where Ms.Bingley bitches about Lizzy and Darcy replies-It is many months since i consider her as one of the handsomest women of my acquaintance" Such a fitting reply and i love the way Collin Firth delivered these lines😳 And yes, without anything remotely intimate or physical, you could feel that intense chemistry between Darcy and Lizzy..Thts enough testimony of Austin's brilliance as a writer

Darcy was superb in his way of shutting people up especially Ms.Bingley. I loved how he totally renders her speechless with his retorts for her bitchiness.
But that reminds me, I had the terrible and uncontrolable urge of strangling Mrs.Bennett and Lydia wile watchin the BBC version 😳 The mother was so annoying! I could never understand how Lizzie managed to handle all that craziness.

Yes, There are not many or even a few who can create a classic and epic romance without anything remotely physical or intimate! Their coversations and stolen glances were more than enough 😃
Sometimes I feel sad the horrible turn writing has taken today (Twilight being an example)

But the power of Mr.Darcy's influence is still shown today in so many male heroes!
Even Asad has shades of Mr.Darcy put in him.
