Im totally in love yet again with the Period or Historical Romance after reading P&P... Mr.Darcy
Its surprising how Mr.Darcy's influence is shown in so many book, tv or movie heroes. Even Asad in a few ways is like Mr.Darcy but yes, Mr.Darcy is a classic character.

I heard of Casual Vacancy but didn't understand what the story was about then I forgot about it.

Ok I never heard of Crow Lake. 😊

Have you read Finding Grace or Immortals of Meluha?

On topic, how adorable were Karan and Surbhi in the latest interview😳 I loved that part where Karan says 'answer mil gaya aapko?'😆 And that whole Shawn part where Surbhi says Karan sabardasti sent him back😆 Karan looks so much better with ruffled hair..It makes him look young but i guess they have to make Asad look mature..And am so so jealous of Surbhi's hair..How gorgeous did they look in this interview😲

You cannot help but love it, its a brilliant book so beautifully written too! Seriously I bow down to Jane Austen for this book. The development of Lizze and Darcy Is just... wonderful!
And Mr.Darcy is just... No adaptation has done justice to the book! (Worst I think was the indian version with Aish n that american actor)

Funnily, I just watched the BBC version again 😆 Even I have to agree that was the closest adaptation of the book but the actress playing Lizzie was not that great 😕 She is good but she did not make me feel like she was actually Elizabeth.
Colin Firth on the other hand... *swoons* 😳 He was totally Mr.Darcy (The way he used to keep staring at Lizzie was enough to send me into a fangirling fit) I loved his portrayal of Darcy. It was wonderful! Wished they showed more of him and lizzie though.



The 2005 movie P&P had more romance shown between Lizzie and Darcy but the actor did not seem like Darcy for me. Maybe its because Im biased towards colin firth. 😆
