Hey guys, I think some of us are taking the promo wrong...some people think that they are going to celebrate holi...I have 2 views
1. We have to read between the lines...the promo is just a symbolism of the future track, not an actual scene. Asad is going to finally give in to his feelings...the stages of denial would be over. I am not too sure if he would openly express it to Zoya verbally , but the fact that she is in the promo, and looking at him face to face means that his actions are going to change towards her fully...she would definitely feel his love. We are definitely in for a treat...lots of MITWA moments...Asad would no longer be able to hide his emotions/love for Zoya!
I think they incorporated holi into the promo because of the timing...holi is right around the corner...and the rang-red, is often associated with love.
2. We all know that Zoya is often over-excited about everything...maybe because she is from new york (a multi-cultural place) she has an appreciation for all cultures and would be excited to take part in holi as it may be her first time. Maybe Asad would not have a problem with it and is content that zoya would be happy taking part in the holi celebration...and he gives her blessings to go, by placing rang on her face...and adds the extra sweet line about his love...a confession prehaps.
anywho...it's most likely the first one...
And i am so happy that freaking Tanveer wasn't in this promo...Razia i could stomach...not Tanveer.
