Wow, amazing insight!
It's sort of like a poetic injustice that Zoya has to actually live Asad's worst fears. If it's any consolation to what Zoya is going to have to deal with, at least she didn't grow up under the shadows of the dark past, like Asad. Which has even emotionally stunted him. At least Zoya had her Aapi and Jeeju giving her a solid childhood and gave her room to express herself.
Ah-ha!
You pointed out something good, I had wanted to add that too but I forgot 😆
Its true Zoya had a better childhood compared to Asad, She had her Jiju and Appi who gave her all the luxuries she needed. She was given the love, support and protected from harsh realities of the world whereas Asad was forced to face them at a very young age.
That is why it is so poetic, not that much of an injustice because what emotions Asad couldn't freely experience in childhood was experienced by Zoya. Now the situation has become such that Asad has the chance to have that happy life (once Rashid's innocence is proved) but Zoya will have to face all the pain and harsh reality of her life.
Its rather complicated but interconnected so beautifully, Asad and Zoya have been binded by the same thread of fate.
