Part 13:

Asad left dilshad's room in such a hurry that he did not notice his little sister standing right beside the door who had heard the entire conversation between the mother and son. After asad left, najma goes inside dilshad's room.

Dilshad was busy in her thoughts about asad and zoya and did not notice najma come in.

najma: ammi...ammi...ammi!!!

dilshad(suprised): han?...are najma, tum kab i?

najma: bas abhi abhi.

dilshad: acha huwa tum a gai, kal hum woh...(cut off by najma)

najma(hesitatingly): ammi kya ye sach hai k bhaijaan ur zoya...?

dilshad: han.

najma(shocked): lekin ammi, woh dono to ek dusre se kitna larte hai, woh kese ek dusre se mohabbat kar sakte hai.

dilshad(smiling): mohabbat ki nai jati najma, mohabbat to bas ho jati hai(remembering her time with rashid). hum kab kise ur kab mohabbat kar bethe hai hume khud hi nahi pata chalta.

najma(surprisingly): sach main?

dilshad: hahahaha, pagal larki, jao ja kar so jao, raat bohat ho chuki hai ur kal subha galdi bhi to nikalna hai.

najma: gi. (najma turns around to go but then stops)

najma: ammi one last question.

dilshad(smiling at najma): pocho.

najma: woh actually, bhaijaan ne to apko saf saf mana kiya abhi thori dar pehele k unhe zoya ki fikar nai hai to phir ap itne yakeen k saath kese k sakti hai ke woh ur zoya ek dusre se mohabbat karte hai?

dilshad: bohat hi asan hai, jab tumhe kisi se mohabbat hogi to tumhe samaj main i ga, ur raha sawaal asad ur zoya ka to un ko to khud hi nai maloom k unhe ek dusre se mohabbat ho gai hai.

najma: to apko nai lagta ammi k hame unki help kari chahiye?

dilshad(smiling):nai najma, unhe apni mohabbat tak pohacne ka rasta khud hi dhundna hoga, hum to bas dua kar sakte hai.

then dilshad notices najma's sad face.

dilshad: lekin hum kosish zaroor kar sakte hai.

najma(excitedly): thank you ammi, thank you so much( while hugging dilshad).

dilshad: acha acha bas, jao ab so jao jake.

najma: gi.

najma went of to her room while dilshad also went off to sleep. Asad was going off to his room when he heard someone crying, he noticed that it was coming from zoya's room and quickly went into her room without even knocking. asad opened the door and saw zoya crying while zoya had felt asad's present in the room and quickly wipes her tears.

asad(whispered): zoya.

zoya(turns around and comes up to asad): mr. khan, ap hamesha mujhe kete rahete hai k mujhe tameez ur tehezeeb nai hai,to ab app itni raat ko mere room main...

asad did not listen to a word she had said, instead, he was looking at the lonely tear that zoya forgot to wipe of. Asad lifted his hand and wiped the tear off from her face. tears formed in zoya's eyes again and this time she lets them drop in front of asad.

zoya: mr. khan hamesha mere saath hi aisa kyu hota hai, kyu main hamesha akeli rehe jati ho.(crying).

asad holds her hand and makes her sit on the bed and he himself sits beside her.

asad: ssshhh.

zoya: kyu mr. khan, kyu unho ne meri ammi ko mar diya, akhir kya bura kiya tha meri ammi ne unka, sirf ye k unhone mere mustakbil(future) k bare main socha, kya main itni buri ho k koi bhi mujse rishta nai bana chahata?

asad: asai baat nai hai.

zoya: asai hi baat hai, boohat buri ho main,sab meri waja se howa hai ur apke abu bhi to indirectly meri hi waja se app logo ko chor kar gai, mujhe to marjana chahiye tha usi waqt jab...

asad: zoya!!!, bas,ur nai. kuch nai howa app ki waja se, jo howa woh hamari kismat main likha tha, ur kismat ko badalna hamare haath main nai hai, main manta ho k jo bhi howa woh sai nai tha lekin ab sab thik ho gaya hai, and look at the bright side, ap ko humaira jaisi itni piyari behen bhi to mili hai.

zoya: thanks.

asad: kis liye?

zoya: mera saath dene k liye.

asad: hmm.

asad left for his room when zoya started her blabbering.

asad(to himself): confused larki

zoya(to himself): complicated man.
