This show is like any other 4Lions show. They just have 1 premise and 1 main raaz or backstory. And if the makers were to get to it, that would stop the story short right there.
So they do anything to distract from the issue, be it creating an unnecessary love triangle.

If they were to get to the raaz about Zoya's abbu and the gudiya factory raaz (which are most likely connected), then what they have left to show? [4Lions logic, not mine]
So why not drag the track for as long as possible?

I agree with Anika.m I think that this track is important for the entire serial. This is not a film where everything will be done in half an hour. We want this serial to go on for years. And not end all of a sudden. The CVs are doing a fantastic job. I cant wait for Asad to find out. Im also sure Ayaan will fall in love with Zoya. This entire track Tanveer and all this is just a start to an exiting story. The Trps are also doing well which is a bonus 👏
