It does seem that Ayaan Zoya's friendship track is on the cards but I hope it does stay till friendship or like you said probably a crush from Ayaan's side. Hoping they don't take it beyond that. I dread the idea of them marrying

Well said Laila though I feel this track is to make way for Ayan in Zoyas life.
See her visa is expiring and she feels Asad found his match and she is not needed anymore. Ayans angry at his bro and even calling him his step bro for the first time. That BB( new chick) is grey and Asad seems a little too much Free with her. She is harming ASYA equations already.
The day is not far away when Zoya withdraws completely and finds solace in Ayan.

I for one didn't want to see Zoya nursing a heartbreak first up...would have preferred it the other way round.I wanted to see Zoya have not even an inkling of any feelings of love for Asad at this stage at all.The ideal scenario for me right now would be if Asad was to feel this strongly for Zoya,getting to know and feel her worth especially after the demeaning,unnacceptable way he had treated her,that would have been more heartfelt to watch.Ayaan Zoya angle I dnt mind as long as it stays at friendship for Zoya atleast...the playful,fun comical banter would give us some light hearted moments and how about sending in a hot hunk for Zoya,that way we get to see Asad agonising in the thought that Zoya is in love with another and further torture for him when he sees no signs of Zoya the least bit bothered about his engagement to Tanveer(even though in her heart of hearts she is),if and when it does happen.😃 and most importantly amidst all this we are still yet to see a full on redemtion from Asad for that monstrous behaviour of his.I hope Miss Gul hasn't forgotten about this or is simply going to leave it brushed under the carpet as it is.Also this distance makes the heart grow fonder agenda has to have enough soul stirring elements to still stay afresh in our hearts and minds so that one,we dnt get bored out our wits with endless fillers and two,we dnt forget that there ever was a love story in the making between a couple called Asad and Zoya!

Totally agree with your post babes Gul need to be very careful with this track, if she drag it out too long she will loose a lot of viewers, it just need to be handle with kids glove and kept fresh and for god sake don't turn it into a melodramma or one of those never ending love triangle like pavitra rishta.
