All love stories have to go through the essential phases that make them great. One of these phases is heartbreak, pain, that piercing sensation in the heart that not only hurts the proagonists but also pricks the audience/readers. That's where Asad and Zoya's story has arrived. We, the audience, who have loved every moment of their togetherness, are now entering that phase when every moment of their separation wil affect us. We will feel their tears, their pain, their bruises as if they are our own. That's how I have felt since Zoya saw Asad hug his childhood buddy yesterday. Today, it was more of the same, just more painful and piercing.

Am I disappointed? No, not really. Am I crying with Zoya? Yes, I am because I know what she is going through. I am not disappointed because I know unless they go through this phase, they will never unite, never appreciate what they mean to each other, never really know how much they love each other.

To Asad's defence, despite being with Tanu, he showed genuine concern for Zoya. One could tell, her bruises did affect him. Even in the car, although Tanu sat with him, his gaze was stuck on the rear view mirror. On the dining table, he couldn't help giving her the longer than usual glance. Why? Because, somewhere deep down he knows what he has done- her external bruises are all he can see but deeper down, she is more bruised than one can see. She is not her usual chirpy self, there is no shayari, she is subdued. He knows her too well, and that's why followed her to the room. Asad, being Asad couldn't ask her directly about her change in behavior. Instead, he focussed on her external wounds.

Zoya, of course, is a wounded soul, inside and outside. She can't believe that the man who had just said all those beautiful things to her the night before, is acting like a total stranger. Seeing him with his childhood buddy, has once again reminded her that she is all alone in this world. Mr Khan, who was becoming her confidant and best friend in this world, doesn't belong to her. She doesn't expect much from him, but why does it hurt so much? Perhaps, she did expect that despite being a misfit for him, she held a special place in his heart.

Ayaan too was a bruised soul today. Humeira noticed his external wounds. Just like Asad, she tried to take care of his external wounds but Asad bhaijaan hurt his feelings when he refused to withdraw his case against his father. Ayaan, instead of going into mute mode like Zoya, wounded Asad's pride by slapping the 'sautela bhai' comment on him.

Shireeen and Dilshaad are of course nursing their own wounds with Rashid suffering in the jail. He is a bruised man, who is also being tortured in jail and no matter what, will continue to be broken both inside and outside.

Tanveer- I am not convinced is all negative. She could be the surprise package in Asya love story. I know she seemed interested in the doll but also was concerned about the 'ankahi baat' between Asad and Zoya. She also challenged Asad about Rashid's case. We will have to wait and see if she is actually there to trap Asad or genuinely help him as a friend.

Symbolism of the day: 1. Ayaan's shirt that said NY! So, Ayaan is ready for Ms New York to enter his life. So, let's get ready for Ayaan-Zoya friendship track next week. Would love to see a jealous Asad sulking at the sight of his sautela bhai and his stupid girl together! I will really enjoy that sight :)

2. After Zoya left the dining table, Dilshaad also left in a few minutes. So, if Asad hurts Zoya, Dilshaad will always side with Zoya.

Todays epi was based on HALAAT. The situations they are trapped in.When Asad looked at ipad, he couldn't relate himself.His world came to a crash. Zoya hayye she is so broken. The car scene was kinda tragic lol. I did not find Tanveer bad. She is kinda cute. (DONT BASH ME)🤣 But if a person knows them from their childhood obviously we will have a strong bonding. Zoya felt left out at dining table. They talked about Asad and Tanveer and Zoya felt an outsider. Asad knew somewhere in his heart that it was wrong to leave her all alone. When Asad said he was worried for her, she saw a light but then Tannu came. JAMMY ohh i wanna know why she calls him that. But i like the friendship of Asad and Tanveer. When Asad introduced Zoya saying " Ammi ki rishtedaar ki dost " she felt ignored. His words peirced in her heart like a thorn. When she sees Tanveer so close to Asad she feels tinge in her heart. She is jealous and has fallen for him very badly. As for Asad and Ayaan's conversation, i loved how Asad was so strong and tanned throughout. But when Ayaan said him 'sautela', his world came to an end. C'mon you fool, your bro has done so much for you and cant you atleast give him moral support instead of telling him so-called-sautela?? I guess Tanveer has patched up Asad and his Ammi and i really appreciate that.

I too am not disappointed but crying with Zoya.

As far as the MSK is concern I am not worried that she will come in between ASYA, as Asad clearly showed how he feels about Zoya, but I just don't feel the chemistry and ease of childhood friendship between them. It looks and feels very forced relationship and I did not appreciate MSK personality. she is so domineering kind of a person. How does Asad tolerate her OMG.

I hope we can back our bubbly Zoya back soon even though is will be hurting but I want my princess back.

Thanks salwa. I am not sure whether Tanveer is a positive or negative character yet. They have dropped clues that she is negative but you never know if they are trying to mislead us. Let's wait and see. BTW, I don't care for Tanveer as much. Zoya is my sweetheart :)

I too am not disappointed but crying with Zoya.

Thanks Zam. Yeah, their friendship seemed out of character and out of place. Asad, the ultra conservative guy that he is, can't imagine him being so chummy with a girl but maybe that's the point. If he doesn't even treat her as a girl, then he will never see her as a wife :)

I am really looking forward to Ayaan-Zoya friendship right now. Their silly shayaris and pranks and a green-green Asad!

Wonderful post. I was depressed about today's epsiode but posts like yours help put things in perspective. As you rightly said, "all love stories have to go through the essential phases that make them great." Though somehow I wasn't too convinced with Jammy and Tanu's friendly equation and as a lot of people have pointed out, it did seem a bit out of place. And yes, I noticed it too when she referred to the ankahi baat. She could probably help them. Can't predict at the moment what role she'll play and if she has any underlying motives

Thanks s120. Their friendship does seem forced but that also means her role will be short lived. If they wanted to show a more natural flow of their friendship, she would have been in the serial for a long time. Let's just say she is serving a purpose...negative or positive only time will tell. Either way, it will help Asad realize what Zoya means to him
