Exactly. A scene like that has more impact than over-the-top drama where she fears losing him. I believe when he likes her enough and senses she likes him that he jokes with her about her calling him Asad. I think it would be cute and charming as she tries to get accustomed to calling him by his first name. For now, I think she should stay with Mr. Khan and not change just because Tanveer is calling him Asad.

At this point, given Zoya's behavior past that point and prior to it, I'm confused as to why she called Asad by his name after he rescued her from Akram. Because she's been at low points after that as well and never did it again.

Maybe Tanveer will spark it? As we saw in the precap, Tanveer calls him by his first name (obviously, as they're childhood friends). I'm not sure though!

What do you guys think?

i am also very curious to know why she does not call him Asad.

He only calls her Zoya when he is panick strikken that something is gonna happen to her.

Maybe she will start calling him Asad to prove to Tanveer she loves him or when she is in a situation where he is injured and she thinks that she is gonna loose him.

agree...

evn wen both wer intoxicated on the night..they called each other as mr.khan n ms.farooqui..n nt as asad n zoya..

as u said sometimes asad calls her zoya..bt zoya never calls him asad n instaed of that she calls him mr.khan,akadu ahmed khan,maal,tiger,,..n wid many more nick name..

look at tanveer she callesd asad jst like that..i want zoya to cal him like that..hope it happens soon...

I wonder when Asad realized he is in love with her... Hmm. Or when exactly he started to fall for her. There are many incidents that happened and took place that may point to the time... But it's still very uncertain. He always maintains such a serious look on his face that its hard to know what he is feeling... When! -__-

but i kinda like it when she calls Mr Khan or jahapannah 6 packs or jill-e-ilahi. No one dares to call other names to Asad than Zoya 😎

That's easy.. That'll happen upon acknowledgment /admission of their love for each other in a fully conscious state.

That's Gul's pattern.. in all her shows...She has a habit of making a big moment or highlight of it. So the audiences remembers and can put a finger on to the exact moment/ time/ date on when her protagonists address each other by their first names..

Geet: Geet calls MSK..Maan much later in the show, when they both admit their love and he insists she doesn't call him Sir. The realization of love was their all along but they couldn't bring themselves to actually say it aloud..Maan usually addressed her as Ms Handa.. and as Geet only in tense situations. And much later in love he had all sorts of coochie coo names for her. Contrary to Geet who addressed him as sir in his presence and as dust danav or zalim singh khurana in his absence.

IPK: ASR never needed to call her anything but Khushi. and when angry or giving a talking down to it was ' tum jaisi ladki' or woh ladki' ...but Khushi takes a lifetime to get to dropping the ji from Arnav ji..Even as married couple she dint really use Arnav much.. it was more of 'aap'. They too had names for each other but those were contextual like laad governor and sanka devi ( but I don't think ASR ever said that, it was usually her bua ji).

I don't see any other way than for QH to follow suit.

The day Zoya addresses Mr Khan as Asad -time shall stand still for Asad Ahmad Khan. And likewise... I have a feeling.. Asad will blurt out the word Zoya and she will notice that. Which is unlike Asad's nature... Audience will expect the more verbose Zoya to make a slip like that.

Unless it's a life threatening situation where Zoya shall scream out Asad, I think it will be Asad himself who asks her to address him so.

A very long and detailed explanation to a very short question😉

I love how today she said, I know he loves it when I call him jahanpaneh. Ego boost hai hehehehehehe!! I was cracking up!!!! Love how natural she is in her acting! Doesn't even feel like you are watching a show, like its a real life personality! Hehe
