Yes I think she is there for a purpose: several initial possibilities come to my mind and it is may be a combination of these or others
- Razia sent her; Tanveer showed up right after Razia's last call to the mysterious ally of hers; Also in one conversation with Mamujaan she said something like the biggest danger/enemy is Asad Ahmed Khan. She can have someone on the inside to keep and eye on Asad & Zoya and possibly control him. She is taking a multi-pronged approach with Billo and Tanveer
- To eventually make Asad realize not only his love for Zoya but also to bring down his wall/defences and arrogance whe he realizes he judged Zoya by the covers and how poorly he treated her (this may be where the real remorse comes in);
- To make Zoya realize her love for Asad
- To open up the story
- If she is not sent by Razia but is out to ensnare Asad then again its similar to bullet 2, 3, 4, 6,7.8,9
- To refocus QH story and Zoya's attention on finding her father and then either bring a new character in or bring the for Zoya into the Siddiqui family - again opening of the story
- CV's want to bring in the social issue of Treating women with respect
- Personally I hope that it will not only teach Zoya more self-value & Self-respect but also for Asad to value and respect Zoya and treat her accordingly without doing it kind of reluctantly
- If she genuinely is a childhood friend tahat wants what's best for Asad. then despite possibly being in love with Asad herself she will realize Asad is in love with Zoya and will also help him see it becuase his guard would be down with Tanveer
These are some of my initial thoughts - what do you guys think??
Regardless of any of these or anything possibilities, I trust the CVs/Gul - they have have come thru many times to deliver something way better than typical surface possibilities. e.g Asad's crying out for Zoya as depicted in the pitures posted of the upcomiong Mar 8 episode. The way it looked before was he was going to be angry and MU and so on. They drive the story from a fear point of view or have it be driven by higher emotion. Many time they have shown the latter. They are managing TRPS and also listening to QH fans
