The Confession!

I've read a couple of posts today regarding it and because the opinions were divided into "hmm nah I didn't like it, too much laughing" to "I loved it! It was awesome!" I really wasn't expecting much. I always think that if there are divided opinions then it must not be that good.

... But boy was I wrong! That was one hell of a confession!

Like literally! The song... Then the confession... I was INSIDE my laptop! INSIDE! 😆

I think I momentarily forgot where I was sitting and was floating on a cloud!

KSG's expressions! Man I missed those! And Surbhi! Aah! She's just amazing! She has that perfect blend of cute and wacky plus graceful and gorgeous.

Now for the confession! I really thought it was executed amazingly well. I know there was hilarity and laughing all through out but gaaahh! I have no words to express my feelings towards it. Like the way it was shot and then their lines.

How Asad sort of loses himself when he's talking about exactly why he likes her and the way Zoya just sits quietly, her eyes wide, a fond smile on her face but not interrupting. And then the true, practical Asad side of him seeps in and he tells her that she's all wrong for him, that she could never be his wife.

But instead of criticising Asad here, I'm just going to praise the script for this part. It just suits the character so well. This is a girl that he doesn't want to love, wouldn't want to marry. She stands for everything that he stands against and when that's the case he doesn't even want to acknowledge her good qualities. He just wants to keep reiterating to himself that this is all wrong.

It's so evident (applause for KSG here) when he looks at her from the corner of his eyes after telling her this and he lays his head against hers, the torn feelings that are battling within him so clearly evident, his mind over heart rationale so blatantly clear on his face.

This was such a brilliant episode! I loved it from beginning to end! The confession was perfect for me! We couldn't have gotten a confession like this at this point in time in any other way.

And above all it was different, it was cute and it pulled my heart strings.

Of course by this post I do not intend to bash anyone elses opinions. I personally liked it, it doesn't mean that you have to as well. Do let me know how everyone else felt about the episode 😊.
