I agree with every word you mentioned, I extremely adore how you manage to see every moment and scene in both the characters perspective and not just one. I always try and do that as well..

We can read and understand Zoya like an open book, she has a heart of gold and that is visible in her every action and her every word. But Asad is a man whose brain works against his heart, and are always at war, and hence he wears a mask for the world hiding his true self, hiding his equally golden heart. He fears exposing his heart to anyone from the fear of being hurt, from being abandoned. All these insecurities growing out of the scars left by the sudden departure of his dad so early in his life, leaving him alone to handle and shoulder responsibilities at such a raw age, snatching him off his innocence. His trust issues, and the hard world he has seen around himself has made him believe that he has to live the life he has decided for himself, because that would prevent another loss and heartbreak, and doesn;t let his heart decide his life for him.

But he needed something to jerk him off his notions and that Zoya has done pretty well, and she is someone totally opposite of what his brains decided to stay away from. But like he said she just came into his dark life like a bright light , not letting him be lonely even though he always tried to shut himself out. He already realizes in his subconscious that what he thinks and judges her as she is not, but since he has lived just by what he thinks, he needs a Tanveer to make him realize what his heart wants. And now is when the realization of their love to themselves really begins, for both of them. Because no matter what Zoya feels, she has never thought or accepted it to herself and she also needs Tanveer to push her to do that. They both are affected by the other, drawn to each other, but haven;t yet valued the others pain and turmoil, and only a phase like this could bring them closer from their heart and soul.

I am extremely glad though that they concentrated more on feelings, simplicity and innocence even when they had an excuse of just showing lust or physical attraction because they were intoxicated, but they dealt with their feelings, their inner turmoils and depth to both their characters.

Amazing Post! Your analysis are always bang on and are devoid of any Biased-ness..I loved AsYa today..they came clean about their thoughts about each other..Their hearts talked and there were no limits..Asad feels for Zoya and Zoya feels for Asad thats the simple truth but the barriers of ego and lack of respect are there..Asad talked his heart out..He accepeted that his heart flutters when he sees her and his mind is captivated with her thoughts but deep down he knows that no matter what She can never be his..And for that we'll have Tanveer who'll prove it to him how Zoya is the one who is made for him..His heart and mind have yet not reached a point where they match but they would..Soon!
