Zoya woke up the next morning all chirpy and her normal self. She wanted to show Asad that she didn't care whether he hated her or liked her, she just wanted his forgiveness.

"Good morning, phuphi," Zoya greeted as she walked to the breakfast table.

"Good morning, Zoya beta, um could you just get a few fresh tomatoes from the garden…I'm thinking to make homemade sauce for Italian pasta…could you please??" Phuphi asked.

"Yummy…sure Phuphi lemme just grab some…you start serving breakfast…or else you know Mr. Khan and his punctual schedule…" Zoya laughed while saying this.

"Thanks a million!.." Phuphi was delighted with Zoya's response.

Zoya had totally forgotten about Tanveer. She just wanted to please her Mr. Khan. She grabbed a few tomatoes and walked through the lawn and was about to open the backyard door, when she noticed someone sitting in her seat, it was Tanveer. "Ugh that chick…wait a minute Zoya…remember the plan you thought of last night???" Zoya mentally told herself.

Zoya came in happily and settled the basket of tomatoes in the kitchen and sat the seat right across from Mr. Khan. "What a view..." Zoya thought.

Everyone at breakfast quietly, until Tanveer thought to break the awkward silence.

"Asad, remember when we used to play tag and always end up in the mud?" Tanveer said happily.

"Haha…I remember that, it used to be sooo much fun…" Asad said nonchalantly.

"Also remember when Mr. Syed used to get mad at you when you did my homework??" Tanveer reminded him more.

"Tanveer, I remember that, and poor Asad was told to stand outside of class all day, and when he came home, he fought with you so much and cried like a girl when you gave him the silent treatment…those days were so different…" Phuphi also engaged in the conversation happily.

"Ammi, I'm gonna come home about at 4:30, and I'm going to take all of you to the mall…" Asad said while wearing his suit coat.

"Oh shit, I forgot my wallet…." Asad seemed pissed.

"Uh Mr. Khan…lemme go get it…" Zoya chirply volunteered.

"No…aap mera pura room messy kar de gi, um Tanveer could please get my wallet??" Asad asked politely.

"One minute, lemme just grab it…" Tanveer ran into his room like a cheetah.
