After a few seconds of silence and an awkward one I must add, Asad finally got to the point.

"Zoya listen. I've been meaning to tell you this from a really long time. If you have it in you, to just try and forgive me, just this once, I promise to be a very good husband. If you don't mind that is. No pressure and no blackmail. I just want you to give me a chance to be the man I never was. I know I sound like a moron right now and you probably are laughing in your head at me, but I had to do this today. I can't let it be in my heart forever."

"I gotta go work. I'm really sorry Asad. I can't do this." Saying so she got up from her seat and walked off, leaving a weary Asad behind.

"Asad you can't do this to me! This is your baby." Tanveer cried.

"f**k you Tanveer." He spat at her face and walked off, determined to achieve his already battered soul.

"You sign here, beta." The man said. Zoya held her breath and picked up the pen to sign the papers. This was it. The official end.
