This show has crossed ALL its limits of deceny by showing a women get married to one man in her "drugged and ill" state and then having to continue to share a room with another man and having SR with him! Both her real husband and liar who kept her trapped are supposedly doing ALL this for her! That is the biggest joke here and the biggest insult! This women is nothing but a rag doll, just there to screech and mouth OTT dialogues and just do cringeworthy romance with a faker while her husband watches from the sidelines praying for a miracle! Lol

ZEE will be doing a social service by shutting down this insulting show with the most regressive story I have seen. Never watched anything this despicable before! I thought Asad asking Zoya to stay married to Ayaan to "save" his sister's marriage was insulting! But this? This takes the cake totally! People then said Asad "traded" Zoya! At least SHE reacted to her situation! All this Jinnat is doing is doing PDA with a faker and yelling at her real husband and getting ready to marry and have SR with a man who lied to her! But best part is her Husband is watching and letting it all happen coz she will drop DEAD if she finds out she is not Jinnat! Like anyone BUYS that!

ALL this is in aid of the makers living their cheap and dark fantasies via this one mentally lost women, and her vulnerability. They are USING the confusion her character is facing to show more and more cheapness! THAT is why I say these makers should have BCC come after them and shut them down! They are not fit to make shows that decent people can watch! They should move to a different industry that objectifies women and insults them to make money! At least that will be more honest than "pretending" to be decent and actually enjoy and promote cheapness! So done with 4 Lions. They should be banned from making shows for Prime Time! SP making a huge mistake taking them on again! I bet even that show will end up like Humsufferer did! Don't know where GK finds her writers and what sort of morals they were given growing up? Gutter minds!

You definitely should complain to the BCCC if the content of the show is still reinforcing stereotypes and misrepresenting or maligning certain communities. I stopped watching so don't know what's afoot.

But a bunch of us wrote to the BCCC in 2013 after the repeated Dadi torture and the live wire in tub, acid in mehendi kind of rampant misogyny and pervasive violence against women.

The BCCC is really good about following through. They contact you back and will give you a summary of the proceedings of what happened when channel execs are summoned. They even wrote to me to tell me when Zee would show the apology scroll. Zee execs claimed that responding to such complaints and changing scripts violated core creative license!

But last time we made enough noise to force QH and Zee to issue an apology scroll. If they have enough complaints you may be able to get them to do it again.

Sadly, that's the only power viewers have to change such dismal content. For a while QH used to have disclaimers about not endorsing violence against women but just using it to dramatize a fictional show. And then things went back to business as usual. Some other channels are better at doing this for all their shows; Zee, not so much.

But still, the viewers should use this power to express critique. It's not wrong to demand social responsibility from our creative content producers. This is the 21st century, the've got to stop dragging us back to the 17th.
