Thanks Anoom. Yes, as we have seen in the new promo- he will be her protector and let's hope he doesn't leave her like his dad left Dilshaad

Superb analysis. Really look forward to your posts. And now with the mystery unfolding, it remains to be seen what repercussions it'll have on Asad and Zoe's relationship

Thanks s120. I think that is the irony of this situation. Till Asad is in his dad's shoes, he won't be able to forgive his father. Unfortunately. the women will bear the brunt of this sacrifice

Is Asad going to end up doing the same for Zoya?If so, will he finally be able to understand his dad? Will he be able to forgive himself?
Or is he going to take a different route from his father and fight till the end instead of giving up.
I think that is what Rashid did.. he gave up fighting.. he let mamu and mami walk all over him and his family.
He had a lot of time he could have done something, anything.. but he kept quiet,.. coz he was afraid.
I hope Asad doesn't commit the same mistake.

Thanks Nishita. I think that's the irony of the situation. Asad doesn't want to commit the mistakes his dad did but at the same time he can only forgive his dad once he is in his shoes...let's see what happens. I would hate for Zoya to be in Dilshaad's shoes😕

Niice analysis!

I find Rashid's characterisation more and more intriguing by the day. The CVs have led us through a long journey, taking us from disliking him for his desertion of Dilshaad and their kids at the start of the serial to now when some of us sympathise with him for the suffering he too must have endured. The CVs have played just about every card in the deck to make us empathise with Rashid - including have Dilshaad revive at his entrance in the hospital. I can only wait for further character development.
Asad's character development, though, is playing out a slower pace. I hope the CVs find a way for him to hold onto Zoya without sacrifice.

Thanks tvbug. Yes, they have def done a great job of portraying all the characters. A character that goes from negative to positive is always a strong character. Rashid is going to be the same way. Asad is already changing. We saw him actually approach Zoya for advice today- I died when i saw that scene😊

Thanks avonii...I don't have an idea but am just guessing😃 I think both dad and son are alike and that's why I feel they will end up in a similar situation. Hope Zoya doesn't resign to this fate that easily

Yes, I was a little taken aback too. Loved the momentary role reversal - he was unsure and she knew the answers !😊

Nice post Bheegi.

Rashid said today "Maine jaan boojh ke kisi ko dard nahi diya". This tells us that he is actually clear of all accusations that he is currently plagued with. 17 years ago Razia had probably threatened him not only with incriminating him on grounds of burning the factory but also telling him that Dilshad, Asad and Najma will be killed/hurt if Rashid does not leave them.

I'm certain that history will repeat itself in that Asad will live a loveless, single life like Dilshaad (at least for a while) while their soulmate is in a loveless (or one-sided) relationship with someone else- basically Zoya will become Rashid #2 under some pressure (this was probably indicated when Asad tells Dilshaad that Zoya is just like janab Rashid). The tide will turn when Ayaan decides to do his big sacrifice for his bhaijaan.

OR..Asad will indeed take after his father and hurt Zoya (and this was foreshadowed during his convo with Dilshaad when he mentions that after all has Rashid's blood running in his veins).

Awesome writeup..
Loved how you reflected their similar traits, for future track, I just hope Asad doesn't make same mistakes his dad did. There will be hurdles in their story (we the sadistic viewers, love to watch lovers in separation😕, doesnt we?) but hope it will not be so deep that it affect them for long time..
Did love the trust he put into her today and first time really respected and actually was looking forward to her opinion..
