I agree with you...I am arab too..and with the little hindi/urdu I know i follow hindi shows.

I didnt like that dialogues of Zoya...Muslims do not defy or challenge God...It was a bit contradicting..to see her on one hand praying to Allah to let her Aunt Live and on the other hand challenge Allah like that...her sentence was implying that she will Defeat Allah..which is really not in our religion...like you have said...in Islam we grow to believe that Allah has our best interest in whatever happens in our life.

But I took it as a moment of weakness from the character...Because it happened right after Asad hur her with her mom thing..so she was shaken...and all humans have moments and phases of weakness.

My point is, Zoya is from NY. She is modern as well as devout. She practises the same religion as you, but it is quite possible that she understands it differently..

...and anyway that conversation with Khudaa was at the heights of depression...not saying that justifies it..

ALLAH TA'ALA IS ALMIGHTY.. HE NEVER DID MISTAKES, WHATEVER HAPPENS WITH PPL, GOOD OR BAD ITS ONLY FR HIS BAD OR GOOD DEEDS,YES I ALSO DON'T LIKE THAT ZOYA'S DIALOGUE WE CANT TALK WITH ALLAH TA'ALA LIKE THIS,ITS FORBIDDEN IN ISLAM
