That is not an excuse to slap and demean someone in this way. No Asad does not deserve anyone least of all Zoya and Zoya deserves a lot more and better. It is sad that he cannot apologize for his rudeness and abuse until he learns she is innocent. And a sorry is NOT enough...but I am sure that for some this all it takes especially for those who find the slapping justifiable and not a problem. We find it a problem because we do not wish to be slapped around by our future partners or anyone else for that matter - it is called having self-respect and dignity for ourselves and others.
