i think everyone who thinks the whole slapping scene was wrong need to put things into perspective. asad did that cause the closest thing to him was dying, and the person responsible for it (at least in his thoughts) was there trying to converse with him. i'm totally for women's rights and all too, but this was hardly 'violence against women' case. if roles were reversed, i'm sure a woman would have slapped the guy 3-4 times or more. we as women fight for equal rights, so i guess this case would be partly understandable.
