Zoya is in love with him... TOTALLY in love. the way she was looking at him throughout the episode... the flashbacks she had... the hopeful little smiles she gave him at the table... and the way her smile dropped at his lack of reaction... each and every action suggested that she had fallen head over heels for AAK...

i actually understand Asad... his attitude shown in the precap... the dude's in denial. big time. He wants to stay away from any sort of attraction or love for Zoya as he's scared that if he allows himself to love someone, he might get hurt... or end up hurting her... by saying all that to his ammi, about Zoya, he's actually trying to convince himself that nothing's changed... his attitude towards zoya is still the same, while somewhere, deep down, he knows that things are never going to be the same anymore... it wasn't HIS fault zoya over heard him!!!!!

I don't think Zoya is in love with him. She has just seen the guy cry for her. She expected him to soften towards her and gave him an amiable smile.

zoya had been crushing over him from WAY before... she just needed something like this to boost up those feelings... asad might not want to embrace any mushy feelings right now... but zoya had already developed a soft corner for him before... remember the way she used to day dream about him and drool over his six-packs??? maybe it wasn't love... but it was definitely a crush!!!😊
