The highpoint of tonight's episode, for me, was when ASAD was asked to leave ZOYA behind by Dilawar Mamu..that particular moment had more emotional theft than the last scene.
My humble request to the CVs is to realise the fact that a Hindi Film song can absolutely ruin the dramatic sequence, if not used subtely!
It has happened in 'QUBOOL HAI' before. The most spot-on selections of songs in background were first in the scene when ZOYA fells over ASAD in his bedroom(Mitwa) and the second when ASAD and Ayaan get the flashbacks of their childhood bonding(Rooth ke hum se kahin)

Coming back to the episode...it started out really well...the pace in the beginning and the series of events were all interguing. I really felt bad for Humiera and hated Ayaan for breaking her heart!

From the point the 2 couples got separated, 'Punar Vivah' sequences became more of overburden!
The jungle conversation b/w ASAD and ZOYA was really nice.
"Na jane kab aap meri zindagi se ruksat hongi!" Hmm..Jab Hongi tab aap waise hi aansu bahayenge jaise aaj baha rahe the!

As I have already mentioned the 'Jane nahin denge tujhe' sequence did not work at all! Not because of anything else but the song itself!
'Mitwa' would have made the scene less clumpsy.
Overall I felt that if the ASAD-ZOYA scenes were not disrupted so many times, there would have been a certain kind of consistency, because their track was more interesting than the other two tracks!

NOW I ONLY WANT TO WATCH 'QUBOOL HAI' with ASAD and ZOYA returning back to Bhopal! Please NO 'PUNAR VIVAH'!

PS: CHEERS TO SURBHI! She's absolutely sparkling in certain scenes:)

I usually don't express my opinions about other's opinions. But this time, I beg to differ from your post. I thought that song was awesome as a background music. Try muting the video and watch. You will not have the same effect compared to with music on. That song was written when the friends are struggling to save another friend's life. Makes sense to me.
Didn't mean to offend anyone. Just my opinion. that's all.
